HA..probably not..but I always Think the Jets will win.
-
Does anyone else feel that him saying 'Come hit in this lineup, see how good you can be." is almost like saying everyone on his team sucks? I personally don't care if he wins MVP..becuase I don't care about MVP at all, but the fact that he comes out year after year to say he should, someway or another, I think is a little low, and ultimatly pointless.
-
EDIT..Nevermind
-
Well I can't say this will KILL the Pats, but It wont help....hmm, I think I smell the Jets in the East..mm, smells like s***(but a W)

Let me put it this way, if I could go to a loss in the rain, I sure as hell would, I really have no idea what that means really for saying, but, thats my stand. But I also wanted to throw out there that a lot of Yankee fans expected it to not even be played, and thats why there weren't many fans there, and I really think that if some of them knew, they woulda been sitting there, and that our lead in the division has ultimatly no effect on who shows up, I'd think

I guess in the NL, I'd like to see the Dodgers in it. And I think that the Mets got ahead very early luckily enough for them, becuase I feel their going to decline over the next month, but then pick it up just in time to be in the shape they were early on when Playoffs start, So for them, i think a lot has to do with Wrights bat, which has hushed since the Break.

Oh please, I must of forgotten that Sox fans obviouly hate to win, since it seems loving to win is a bad thing. We love to win, period? Is that a joke!? No, We love to win now and then, but other than that, losings fun. Do you turn on a Red Sox game and say to yourself 'A Loss today would be AWSOME, if were lucky'? I must have forgotten all the Sox fans saying who sucks, and what mistakes were made after the last series, becuase, well, thats the lose half, and obviosly the Love ended at Ortiz.
-
I'd say be a Red Sox fan, too. Beucase if your a Yankees fan, everyone probably will hate you.

I Agree, I never thought. But I was happy with the team, yes, we capatalized on some Sox errors, but we also played some of the best baseball to date I've seen us play, with 3 of the 5 games being comeback wins, including Game 4, for which I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, and todays a small 1run win with a hurt Farnsworth on the mound and Ortiz preped to hit a walkoff in the circle. But so many guys stepped up, pretty much everyone on the team if I went down a list, but I think the biggest comthroughs were by Melky, Damon, and Jeter, for almost the whole series, it seemed like they were starting us off right(Damon), or helping to keep us close to win(Melky and Jeter)

Seen Clerks II latley And I think the main reason...other than it giving the lead, is becuase he tied Mattingly for 2nd all time in doubles. And why you would ever want to watch anything that had Woody Paige and Skip Baylore on it is a story in itslef

How many Yankees fans on this board agree with this?
RedRuffing15 replied to Youk Of The Nation's topic in Other Baseball
I remember listening to a game on the radio for the first time in a few years, maybe since 2002, and I was wondering who she was, and I agree, he'll say something like 'Mussinas looking really strong this season' and her responce will be 'Thats correct, hes looking very strong' And then go into some story.... -
