    Yep, I dont think this loss is only on Graffanino. At the end of the day its a team effort.

    You know Graffanino made the bad error BUT David Wells was one pitch away from getting out of it. Did he have to hang a breaking ball? The blame needs to be spread out.

    The big hitters in both lineups are ice cold. Vlad is 1-7 and A-Rod is 0-5 3BB. The difference is RJ is pitching for us in game 3 and Paul Byrd is pitching for them. I feel pretty good.

    Too make a long story short the Yankees lost the game more then the Angels won it. I will say one thing though....this isnt the same Angel team from 2002. This team does not nearly hit as well as that team. If the Yankees have any defense behind Wang tonight we are headed back to NY up 2-0. But oh well I would have taken a split anyway.

    4-2, if the Yankees lose this game they can look in the mirror and point because the Angels took advantage of their BRUTAL mistakes.

    error by A-Rod cost Yankees the lead. The offense needs to get going. Wang is throwing one hell of a game tonight.

    Wake has been the Red Sox best pitcher this year. I would say thats the pitcher you would most want on the mound in this situation. I would expect him to pitch a good ball game. On the other hand Freddy Garcia I believe has the best road stats for a pitcher in the AL and the White Sox are the best road team in baseball. Game 3 should be ALOT of fun.

    Yeah in fact I believe you guys avarage about 2 runs more per game at home so its good that you guys are going home. Wells pitched well enough to win. Its ashame he suffered that fate. Atleast you guys have Paplebon for a full year in the starting rotation next year.

    I have talked to a few people that have been to US Cellular Field and they all say that it can get pretty violent.

    Your right, if the Red Sox win this thing it will be because they out slugged the White Sox. The Red Sox simply dont have any form of consistant pitching so they need there offense to be special. The past 2 games its been pretty below avarage for themsevles.

    For Paplebon to start game 5 he cant pitch at all from here on out untill game 5 which take away him from the bullpen and makes it even weaker. If it gets to a game 5 it will be pieced togther with Arroyo, Clement and Wells coming back on 3 days rest. All hands on deck like they say.

    Lowe was a major part of the 03 win and he closed out every game of last years postseason. Would you like to have Lowe or Arroyo/Clement right now?

    I think thats a big problem here. I would still bet on the Red Sox if they had Pedro Martinez, Derek Lowe and a dominate Curt Schilling. None of those guys (esp Pedro and Lowe) are walking through the Red Sox clubhouse anytime soon.
