I don't really seeing the Yankees winning the East, but I don't think this team is dead by any stretch of the imagination. They've been in a pretty bad stretch, but they're starting to come out of it and play pretty well. The offense is going to pick it up and soon enough we'll have a rotation which, I think, could do pretty well. Way too early to give up.

Yeah, she definitely overreacted but I can't really blame her. I was freaking out when I saw it on TV, I can't imagine what it was like at the stadium.

Good, it's where he belongs. It's funny the Yankees paid that much for him, but I also see humor in the fact that a guy being sent down to A ball shut out the Sox for six innings a few weekends ago. He has the talent and stuff to be a #5 starter, but he's having serious trouble making the switch from Japan to American ball. -
As opposed to the Red Sox? Ummm, how many of your players have not been 'bought'? Like 3? That's the nature of the game now; big market teams with a lot of success like the Yankees and the Sox get rarely get major help from their farm systems, they have to 'buy' talent.

I doubt Wang gets the no-no, but he's pitching a great game. This is something the team really needed.

Vizciano could be effective if Joe Torre hadn't set a record and taken only a month to murder his arm. Anyways, I'd rather have his arm in the bullpen and the young guys we got than 43 year old Randy Johnson (6.15 ERA, .300+ opposing batting average from both sides...in the National League.) And I hope we have a few more games like this; might lead to someone 'slightly' more important than a conditioning coach to be shown the door.

The bullpen must really hate Pettitte or something. I guess that's what he gets for defending Pavano.
