  1. I'm glad these games are on the West Coast. I can fall asleep and feel good about the Yankees and not have to actually watch them screw it up.
  2. Mo closes it out. Yankees win 5 - 2.
  3. Wow, I cant believe that stayed fair. Abreu HR puts Yanks on top
  4. Maybin HR gives the Tigers the lead
  5. Posada puts the Yankees on top with a solo shot
  6. Yankees can't keep wasting these opportunities to make up ground (especially freebies like last night) and expect to be playing in October.
  7. Sheffield receives a less than warm reception from the crowd.
  8. April Mo is back Kind of unacceptable to lose the game after what happened in the bottom of the 9th
  9. Tonight's game wasn't surprising. A loss with Karstens starting isn't something that's going to keep many fans up at night.
  10. I'm pretty sure that title goes to Bedard.
  11. That's good; we're all laughing in that case. You get to laugh at me and I get to laugh as Gagne blows a(nother) lead.
  12. And get a bunch of "Stop spamming our game threads rarararara" ? No thanks. It's relevant here; I heard plenty of people going after Brian Cashman and the Yankees for not going after Gagne.
  13. Brian Cashman, you fool! Why oh why did you not give up Melky (.371 BA in July, August) and a top pitching prospect like Joba (6 Ks in 2 appearances) for Eric Gagne?
  14. Well...so much for the "KiloMetric"...
  15. Game over. Yankees start the tough stretch with a sweep of the Guardians.
  16. Why was Guidry ejected?
  17. Good game from Moose
  18. Ridiculous. How about the pitcher that actually hurt the batter and started the whole thing gets something as well? Or MLB worries about something actually important?
  19. I'm not a Bonds fan, but I honestly couldn't help but smile last night when he hit that HR. It's not everyday you get to see history like that. Bonds still has nothing on Hank Aaron or Babe Ruth ( that's the case for most of today's greats, not just Bonds.)
  20. And there goes Roger...
  21. Someone needs to put a stop sign at first...
  22. Posada comes through with a double. Thanks for not throwing Towers out, umps.
  23. And they clear once again...
