  1. Not everyone on the list is guilty. And not everyone who isn't on it, is innocent.
  2. I'm going to miss Larry Bowa.
  3. Rest of the coaching staff was also named. Tony Pena: First Base Kevin Long: Hitting Rob Thomson: Bench Bobby Meacham: Third Base Mike Harkey: Bullpen
  4. A fourth year? No way. More money? Definitely not. Is Mo going to have to learn the same lesson A-Rod did? You're not going to get a better deal ,numbers wise, anywhere else. So, cut the BS and sign the deal, it's more than enough for what the Yankees will be getting in return.
  5. If he hits 40-50 HR and drives in 100+ RBI annually, he could kick puppies on his way into the Stadium for all I care. When I look at this, it makes sense. The Yankees weren't going to get anywhere close to his production this offseason. To get Cabrera would have cost more than a few good prospects, something we can't really spare. Money, however, isn't an issue.
  6. Your point? His reasons for opting out were ******** and I hope he does get booed viciously next year at Yankee Stadium for what he did. Wow, what a waste of time.
  7. This made the front office and Streinbrenners look foolish? Bringing him back is going to cost alot of money? Uhhh...don't care. Bring the prick back. I'll (somehow) manage to get over all the other BS when he continues to put up historic numbers and breaks the HR record in pinstripes...and I think the same goes for Cashman and the Steinbrenners.
  8. I read that Long is going to soon sign a 3 year deal with the Yankees worth $1 million.
  9. What position does he play?
  10. Kevin Long is coming back (3 year deal worth $1 million, from what I've read.)
  11. As much as I'd like A-Rod to stay in the AL, I think he'll end up in Chicago...and I will thoroughly enjoy watching him become the new billy goat.
  12. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/2007/10/30/2007-10-30_bid_farewell_to_arod_the_goldplated_phon.html
  13. So, I wonder if Scott Proctor has crossed the border yet and claimed refugee status? Anyways, good luck Joe, Don, and Kevin. Have fun working in front of fans who only stick around for 7 innings.
  14. What ********...this guy, and his agent, are two fake, wastes of oxygen. Opting out because you're concerned about the future in NY? ********. A-Rod, please stay in the AL. You need to come back to Yankee Stadium next season and get what you deserve. I'm surprised you Sox fans aren't angry about this attention whore deciding to make the announcement public in the middle of the clinching game.
  15. A manager that has been in control of multiple $200+ million teams and lost in the first round of the playoffs three years in a row is being let go. Sounds like a good decision to me.
  16. If Mo can't be on a team that is without Joe, he (most likely) won't be a Yankee next year. If that's how he wants to be, all the power in the world to him. I look forward to him turning down the big check the Yankees offer. No player has the right to dictate what the team does.
  17. Ha...Mets suck.
  18. The MVP race is over (for sure, at this point.) 8 days into September and A-Rod already has 7 HRs, 13 RBIs...
  19. That was an odd ending for a great series. It makes no sense to me why Joba would throw at Youk, especially up there. It looks bad, but I still don't know what to think about that.
  20. Wow. A-Rod scores from first on the bad throw.
  21. Another good inning for Joba. Now hopefully Mo can get the job done again.
  22. Ouch, my self esteem. Now stop distracting from the game. Looks like there's a chance of Wang starting the 8th, he has his arm wrapped still.
  23. Guess what else it is? Irrelevant.
  24. Check the rule book. It's pretty clear on base running. Something that happened three months ago in Toronto has nothing to do with it.
