Will Michael Bowden be a starter next year for us?

Doubt it I see him coming out of the pen maybe but not starting for the Sox. -
Honestly Clay has pitched great this year.But I'm gonna have to go with experience and say Dice-K should start it.

The Jays are praying that Doc gets a no no in his last start think about what his value is going to be if he's able to throw one. This game means nothing honestly I'm not worried the Sox are basically playing none of the regulars they are going to be using come October. This series means crap all.

Honestly im more focused on them winning the Wild Card they could still catch the Yankees but I think the wild card is a little more realistic right now.

My lord Grienke is the DIRTIEST pitcher in baseball hands down. The Sox could not do ANYTHING against that guy tonight man. He was ridiculous..

I like that the Sox are starting and finishing against the Yanks. And it should be interesting when the Dodgers come to town if Manny is still with em.

He's a great pickup he's been nothing but solid the whole time he's been with the Sox.

I love everything. I've been playing the sport my whole life and I still feel like a little kid every time I step onto the diamond. There's just something about it. Baseball to me is a way to escape everyday problems and stresses and just forget about all the bad crap that's going on.

my biggest concern this offseason has to be the Sox bringing Jason Bay back his contract is up and he's a player they CANNOT afford to let walk away. -
Youkilis is very far from selfish you go up to the plate and get plunked two nights in a row and tell me if It doesn't piss you off. I know i'd do the exact same thing if I was in his position. I don't blame him for what he did. Besides it brought Lowell into the game and he's hit 3 HR in 2 nights for us.

Honestly im up for putting Lowell at DH but until Youk get's back we kinda need him at 3rd base. I think it's a good idea though put Martinez at 1st. Youk at 3rd. Let's be honest Lowell is much better there than Papi as of this point. Papi hasn't really done a whole lot this season. I just can't understand what is wrong with Papi I have never seen his power numbers this bad man.

Man o Man Beckett is just nasty everytime he steps out onto that mound. It was nice to see the bats going strong in this one mostly Bay and Lowell though. But really have we seen any different from Bay since the Sox got him. -
Lousy game AGAIN. starting pitching was solid again. Offense once again couldn't do crap they need to get the bats going if they want to win. We've got Lester going tonight and I have a good feeling about the game.

2 of those 3 actually hurt us. Lowrie and Wake. Dice-K hasn't done crap all year he's been nothing but lousy. He's better on the DL anyways.

I'm not even close to panicking just yet. It's still early August, there is still almost 2 months of baseball left. The offense is in a slump right now it's as simple as that. Once this offense does get going again watch out cause they are going to come back on a tear. Bucholz looked good yesterday if he keeps that up we'll be in good shape there. Wake should be back soon so he's gonna be a big help. It's not time to panic just yet.

No surprise that he said no to the trade he's always said he wants to stay in the National League as soon as they announced the trade I didn't expect him to say yes to it.

Honestly I'm not sold on him. I still think he might be pretty solid this year I'm just not sold on him as of yet. I have to see his stuff first and I honestly don't expect it to be spectacular I'm sure he'll be solid out of the pen but not as a starter.

It's only May im not too worried as of yet. He'll get hot soon and when he does watch out.

Honestly im not surprised AT ALL. It's Manny number one and most players are doing this stuff nowadays anyways. I've said from day one that i bet Manny was doing some sort of PED's.
