This is a very stupid thread. It should be deleted; of course Manny is staying because Theo realized that he will never get enough value in return. No team is willing to part with young talented pitching for a soon to be 35 year old OF and I for one am completly fine with that.

If you look the numbers are similar over the last 3 years... Manny dominates in every category over the last three years.

I will say this, If we had to trade Manny Andruw is def. the best hitter on the Market to replace Manny, he is a very good player but I would take Manny next year over Andruw in a heartbeat.... Remember people Andruw could be gone next offseason... With the deal that Carlos Lee got do you really think the sox are willing to pay Jones 150 million over the next 6-7 years?

Some one who understands how great Manny is... Its hard for people who dont watch the sox from day to day to understand what Manny is... Probally the Best RH in Redsox history

Manny isnt an awful fielder, he is a good fielder at Fenway Park and he has an acurate throwing arm. Manny still has 3 good years left in the tank. Manny pure hitting wise is the best RH in the AL.
