  1. Great game yesterday in Manchester between ManU and Milan. Hopefully they can go on and win this and meet Liverpool in the final. Should be fun to watch.
  2. Good god! Bayern lost today to Stuttgart and its hope to be at least on third place at the end of the season. No Champions League next year, UEFA Cup, here we come!
  3. Great game, really glad I stayed up! Arrigato Hideko Okajima! He really can close games if needed, that's not too bad:D. Even though it's very early in the season, I'de say Rivera should have called it a day. Obviously he hasn't got the stuff anymore that has made him the best closer. Two blown saves in a week? Anyhow, I don't mind what's going on there. Great win today and a great way to start the first game out of 18.
  4. I love soccer too! Bayern M?nchen fan for life. A disappointing season though so far, just got kicked our asses by AC Milan (again), but what the hell, domestic championship is still in reach. As I'm from Austria I'm also a SK Rapid Wien supporter and I'm following Nottingham Forest very closely. Looking forward to the European Championships taking place in Austria and Switzerland next year, should be a great event with great fans from all over Europe. The only difference to Germany 2006: Austria won't survive the group stage, but that's OK, we really suck in football and we know it. Also the English Championship called Champions League should be fun to watch seeing Chelsea fall (and Milan of course). Would be a red final and I don't care for the winner as long as Chelski's gone.
  5. OK, thanks! I just saw that this post was a perfect copy of the first one, that's why the whole Aussie stuff was so familiar.
  6. A response to my second post? I have to admit I'm a bit confused...
  7. Thanks for the award, but one I'm not really proud of And BTW, I'm not an Aussie, we're called "?sis"
  8. Admittedly, it took me quite a while to come back to this forum, but from now on I'll post on a regular and more frequent basis:D Should be a great season with all the Dice-K mania, and I'm really looking forward to watching him throw his first pitch in the majors. Cheers and let's go Red Sox!
  9. I would like to introduce myself as a new member to this site and I hope I can keep it short. I'm a 27 year old student from Austria (sorry if my english lacks the right grammar sometimes but I really haven't used it that much since I left school) residing in Vienna for some couple of years now and I love sports. As a "typical" european sports fan I've always liked soccer and always will, but I'v been a great icehockey, basketball and football fan too. And three years ago I watched my first ballgame and it happened to be a Red Sox game which they won in dramatic fashion in the ninth and from that day on I'm a fan. But my love of the Red Sox has grown throughout the years and I will always cheer for the greatest team in sports, in good times and in bad times. I've also read a lot and watched games from the past, archive footage and so on, so I know about the past, the greats and I really soaked up the history and the spirit of the Red Sox. And thanks to MLB.com I can watch every game even though it's 2 a.m. over here. I'm really glad that I've found this site and this forum and I'm looking forward to post and read everything what you've got to say. I know I'll have a great time here with you guys...
