    Obviously you missed his point. Actually there are people that hate every team from Carolina. Of course, general consensus that it is the best rivlary in baseball, in sports, but jamming it down the throats of people who have other allegiances, there's only so much they can take.

    Doesn't Caple hates the Yankees? Apparently he's not too fond of the "rivalry" (RIP), either. But I do think Sox-Yanks, Yanks-Sox, however you put it, is beaten with a stick too much. Probably most fans in the Midwest care more about Cards-Cubs, and on the West Coast it's Dodgers-Giants. And yes, I can understand that last year was special, but it was a tad too overexposed, maybe even exploited, but I wouldn't go that far. And there probably is a trillian volumes on the Yankees, but it was "spread out" over a couple decades, so it's not exactly the same.

    Oh ok. Same here (half). C'MON, TAYLOR, LET'S GO! Vince Young for Heisman t-shirts are going to be circulated if he comes up big against Ohio State. I can only hope that they don't look as hideous as the "Superman Sooner" thing they have going down in Norman. Edit: LOL, MGB. Ha. Edit #2: Yes there is a risk when you rush Young, but if you force him to make quick decisions to pass, that's his weakness. Well anyways, can't say that this sweet though.

    Oh, Mizzou. LOL. Is that game on ESPN/ESPN2? Even if it is, coverage is really regionalized, and they switch games a lot. TD pass from Young, 10-0 Texas.

    Texas leads by a field goal, as Ohio State gets the ball back, first almost to an end...just checked, didn't really watch the whole thing. So, I guess Young hasn't been running all that rampant?

    Me? Texas narrowly. (Mainly their baseball program is hated.) Basically can't stand anyone who has to bribe the computers/voters, etc., but I mean...I can't root for Ohio State, it's just, no way, no. Well one of them has to lose. So I'll take that as win-win.

    Michigan = QB growing pains. Everyone goes through it. I guess I'll take defensive touchdowns...I suppose. Like Vince Young needs any more hype. At the same time I really don't want Big 12 to be the laughingstock anymore. Young vs. OSU linebackers...should be verrrrry interesting.

    I remember one of the ESPN analysts, Corso, the old mean guy (anti-thesis of Dickie V ), predicting that ND could go 0-6. They still have a monstrous schedule though. Bowl game will be pretty lucky. Meh, I hope Taylor's first outing was just a little hiccup.
