Steff, proofread your posts, PLEASE. Tigger? He doesn't exist anywhere except in Pooh's forest or whatever. Roddick has arguably the best serve ever. But that's his main criticism. He can serve, and that's about all he can do. Maybe if he played in a time where there was no Federer, he's have better luck. Kinda like he's to Federer what Agassi was to Sampras. But I still think it's a good rivalry (Roddick has to WIN more), because there's such a contrast in style; power vs. finesse.

Silly girl. Goodness, what's the over-under on Chicago's carousel of QBs? Will we see Orton this year? He was a Heisman candidate...and then dropped off considerably (partially because he was hurt - not what the Bears need).

I think the latter, at least it applies to minors. For adults, maybe not. I don't really see it as a problem because it's just words or whatever, and for the most part American sports might get uncomfortable at times, but it's not to the point where you fear for your life, which is a major problem at European football (using the correct term, heh), where if you wear an opposing team's jersey, you might get whacked with a beer bottle.

I know. I was just stating an unwritten, cultural agreement, if you will. I never said it was right, on either side. Some black people (sometimes it looks like a minority) take issue with the "n" word being used, by whoever. Not that I condone "white people hating", but "negro" carries a very negative connotation that's on a different level. "Negroid" was a word that 19th and 20th century anthropologists used to refer to a race of people in Africa; today that word is widely considered offensive.

There's a fine line with race issues. For one thing, if two people of the same race crack jokes about their race, maybe even use a slur, it might considered "ok"; however, if someone of another race says that, it's racism. It's just one of the unspoken rules of society, I guess. And one that perhaps Kent tread, unknowingly, and Bradley instead of addressing it privately (or maybe he did, I don't know), blabbered to the media. More often than not, however, the "racism cry" is taken far out of context.

The whole thread's not going to get deleted, not the part that's relevant anyways, but sometimes if it gets ugly, parts of it will be moved to the "Fights" section, and it gets really ugly in there, so we can just stop this nonsense now?
