Why did he bench LeBron though? I felt that NBA players were in a Catch-22; win, and it's been to be expected (there'll never be another Dream Team), but lose, and they're accused of being ex-patriots. The players that actually bothered to go obviously were interested in representing their country, but unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience, and I just hope players like Tim Duncan will not be disheartened the next time around. I can't remember the name of the guy who now heads the U.S. Olympic Basketball operations, but supposedly he's really good. And now that they figure out they can't exactly assemble a team in two months, they're considering inviting college players to the squad, and asking for a committment. Sheff's being Sheff, but I think the clubs should have somewhat of a say in this. With the BWC, it's supposedly a spring training type of thing, but still, there's a risk of injury, and right or wrong, I can understand maybe some owners not wanting to take that risk. Not to mention international competition can be exhausting; Yao Ming has said that he wants more time off to condition rather than compete in the summer for his country all the time.

Sorry if this topic's been broached, but is there a way to log on invisibily? I've seen this on other boards; there's three types of users: guest, members (listed), and anonymous users, who are members who log on invisbily. Anonymous users still can post, but it doesn't identify you on the active users list. That said, I this board has a lot of neat features that I hardly see anywhere else.
