    Yeah lets blame Rents for Damon missing a ground ball. Rents could have put that throw right on the money and Posada would have still been safe. That had nothing to do with Rents throw at all.

    Yeah his 25 errors this season speak volumes for his defensive abilities.

    Are you blaiming last year on pitching too? How bout the fact that as soon as Arod has left a team they've gotten better ... should we blame that on pitching too?

    Why though? MVP is the Most Valuable Player to a team. If you take Papi off the Sox they're a 2nd place team maybe worse. Doesn't matter if he's in the field or not. If you take Arod off the Yankees they're still more than likely a 2nd place team, so I don't get why Arod gets more consideration than Papi. And I don't know if these broadcasters realize but since Arod has joined the Yankees they've gotten worse ... not really MVP material if you ask me.

    Well this must be your first time seeing a national televised Yankee game. Get used to BS like that. I don't know if you've notice but they've been kissing Yankee ass since their first WS in the 90's. How can A-rod even be considered when he's got 200 million dollars around him and his team isn't even in the playoffs?

    Well when you throw 2 pitches that your mound opponent has consistantly gotten for strikes, and you don't, you tend to get a little pissed. I have no problem with Boomah getting pissed as long as he doesn't let it affect his performance.

    But see theres a big difference. Wells did his job with the Yankees, and wasn't resigned, so him being angry makes sense to me. Khorn sucked this year, and was released. He has no one to blame but himself. Him not talking to former teamates is just him being a cry baby.

    I always thought things like this were silly. I mean we're not holding european cup soccer games here, nor any other sports from another country, yet it seems like we're trying to push our sports on them. I could understand playing some kind of all star game, or exhibition game in another country but I don't think any regular season games should be played anywhere but North America.

    No of course not, but when you suck you keep your mouth shut. When your a LHRP and you can't get a lefty out you don't even talk to the media.

    I really don't want to go off topic but I want to address this. It's not that the Pats buy players. It's that they always win, and they get their asses kissed by everyone in the media. I watched the first half of tonights game and by the end of the first quarter Madden had full grasp on Brady's nuts and wasn't going to let go. I had to turn it off.

    Well the guys not exactly a spring chicken, and he's never really got it done in the bigs before. I don't think Theo is going to take a risk like that when he can go out and get someone like Konerko. Maybe Petagine comes back and backs up, but there is no way he's starting every day. In a perfect world I'd take Konerko. Helton if that doesn't work. I think Helton could have a field day at Fenway. Imagine giving him the weapons of the short porch in right and the monster in left. Then we'd have 3 hitters in the lineup that you absolutly cannot pitch to. I don't think a 3,4,5 of Papi, Manny and Helton looks bad at all. The only problem with that is his huge contract. So I think Konerko is more likely because of the contract, but either choice would be good. I guess I wouldn't complain if we got Huff though.

    OK, well I wont dispute that because I can't say I've seen a ton of Nuggets games. I didn't know that he still had upside, so my statement about him only being mediocre wasn't wrong. Still don't understand the trade though.

    Wow I really don't understand the Celtics at all on this one. Andre Miller was supposed to be the next great PG a few years back but he never really panned out. He's a decent PG now but certainly not top notch. Nene is just kind of an average big man that really isn't going to make your team much better. Unless this all about the money I really don't understand how you can trade a perennial all star for, basically, two nobodys.

    You know I'm pretty sure those 3 Super Bowls are going to keep the Pats from panicing. I seriously doubt if they lose in week 1 they're going to implode or anything. Boy there are going to be a lot of people that don't like me much anymore after the season gets under way. Especially after week 3. HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!
