Which if you decide to be rational and not a little girl you'd accredit to the fact that Coach K's team's always get themselves to the line more than other teams because at Duke you learn how to draw fouls. Take off the "I hate Duke" blinders, and be sensible.

I'm not saying they all worked out for the best. I'm saying they were all "the future" at one point. I'll believe the payroll thing when I see it. If you ask me, theres a good chance this team is going to have a different owner shortly after the All Star Break.

It's my cutoff point because it's the first year of our consecutive losing seasons. We've haven't finished over .500 in now 14 years.

Remember Jason Kendall? How bout Jason Schmidt? Kris Benson? Jon Lieber? Esteban Loaiza? Jose Guillen? Aramis Ramirez? Just to name a few. We've had this so called "bright future" for a long time. Either Spin Williams destoryed our pitchers or we just let the hitters go. I'm not saying this group can't succeed, especially since we have a new coaching staff, I'm just saying we've been here before.

In the last 13 years the Pirates are the worst franchise in baseball. With 2 more losing seasons they will have the most consecutive losing seasons in the history of professional sports in America.

No, but I'm sure the Pirates odds are longer than KC's. All I'm saying is that everyone here uses the Royals as the butt of their jokes, but in reality the Pirates are a far worse franchise than the Royals.

I'm really tired of people using the Royals as the example for the worst team in baseball. It's the Pirates .... and it's not even close. When the Royals have 13 consecutive losing seasons then we can bring them into the conversation.

Gee I don't know why Sammy would retire ... he was in such great shape last year he looked like he was in his rookie year again ... Sammy Steroids is a turd. I hope he retires ... I hope Bonds retires ... I hope Giambi retires ... I just want baseball to be able to move on and get rid of the big ugly faces of steroids.

There doesn't appear to be a site with stats, but I do remember Wake's ERA being over 9.00 with Tek catching last year. First source I saw for it ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knuckleball I'm trying to find more indepth stats.
