Indeed. Not only is it a conference game, but it's a rivalry, it's between 2 top 25 teams, and it's senior night for WVU. This is a big game for both teams. LETS GO PITT!

Shouldn't the same be true for any player coming for any major bball school? How bout all those guys from UNC ... they sure had good players around them. If you truly believe that then I guess all those great players on UConn aren't gonna make it in the NBA because they only look so good because they have good players around them.

Also Puckett's career was ended by an eye problem ... who knows if he would have had better numbers than the two you picked out, but I think it was a special circumstance. -

He did average 21 PPG last year. While I can't say JJ is a complete player, because his defense needs work, he is a diverse player. People who still think JJ is nothing but a jump shooter are one of three things ... someone who hasn't seen a Duke game this year ... Someone who just hates Duke ... or someone who is a moron. I completely agree that, while his legacy at Duke will be great, it wont be complete if he doesn't win. I'm willing to bet any amount of money you can put up that he will be a lottery pick. Judge him at the NBA level when he gets there. I agree that I don't see any of the similarities, but again to say JJ is nothing but a shooter means 1 of 3 things.

No not every time, but if a player hogging the ball costs you a championship then yeah I dont have a problem with Shaq saying that. They asked him what went wrong ... he was honest. If you don't want to hear Shaq say that he should have got the ball more then don't blame Shaq ... blame the reporter for asking the question.

Soriono at 2B would instantly give us one of the worst infields in the baseball ... no matter who we else we have around the diamond. Don't we have another thread about the same thing?

Well after we've gone over the blister issue 238945682397465832974562893765 times on this board I tend to get a little bent out of shape. Nolan Ryan had blister problems at the begining of his career too.

ya know if you'd read the 39487698437659832765982364598237456982376458923745678 posts about this you'd know that blisters are caused by pitching in heat ... like the heat ... ya know ... in Florida where he used to pitch. So no boston doesn't need "magic blister medication" it's just called getting him out of the heat.

He's pitched more innings and more games every year of his career, and god I don't know how many times we're going to have to go over this but almost ALL OF THE TIME HE MISSED WAS DUE TO BLISTERS!!!!!!!!!

Near 3-1 K-BB ratio is impressive after 4 full seasons. After 1 year I can understand saying it's too early, but 4 years makes it a trend, and shows he's capable of doing it every year.

Yeah thats one of the thing I hate most about the NBA is all the s*** the players wear. Some have tights on their arms ... on one arm ... on their legs ... on one leg ... s*** around their wrists ... around their knees ... around their arms ... and head bands ... f*** heads bands. Stop trying to be a f***ing fashion designer and play bball.
