    Well prepare yourself to get pissed because Pete Rose won't be in the HOF until he dies, and I'm sure atleast one of the people under the cloud of the "steroid era" will get in before that.

    I think thats a good idea, but taking games away from the season is going to be something everyone is going to have to agree on, and I really can't see owners giving up the revenue they'd make from those games, so we can have the WBC in the middle of the season. I do however believe that would be the best way to get this thing done, and make it even better, considering everyone would be in mid season form ... I just can't see games being taken out of the season.

    Pokey was loved everywhere he went, and truly gave 110% every time he was on the field. I hope he finds his way back next year, and has the chance to catch on with a team. Thanks for the memories as a Pirate and a Red Sox. POKEY FOR PRESIDENT!

    It was revealed a while back that Barry had a mistress for years. I believe she testified in the Balco case. During their divorce hearings his wife revealed that Barry beat her in the past. Bonds has made numerous racist comments in his career. He may try to be subtle but one of the memorable ones for me, since it happened in Pittsburgh ... after Andy Van Slyke was resigned by the Pirates, "They gave WHITE Andy Van Slyke money but they couldn't give it to me."     Well there being no God may have been a little far, but lets say the baseball gods aren't looking out for our best interests. I was speaking in terms of baseball not life. BTW lets not forget BB cheated on his wife for years, also abused her, and is a racist. Also lets not forget steroids are illegal in this country, and his best friend had a big hand in their production and distribution. Your post makes it seem like Barry is a saint outside of baseball.

    How great is it to see, non Spring Training, professional baseball this early. I dont care who's there and who's not. I love baseball and this is a lot better than Spring Training games.

    I don't believe you'd have enough breath to explain the many ways that BB is a total f*** head. Why is it that guys like Kirby Puckett have to die, and BB is allowed to live. I belive that is proof that there is no god.

    I just showed you against the 5 legit teams they played they had a losing record. I don't care if their RPI is 1 ... if they don't beat the good teams they play what does RPI matter?

    Gonzaga is 2-3 against ranked teams UConn is 8-1 against ranked teams MSU is 5-6 against ranked teams Memphis isn't for real Maryland is done and has been Washington is 3-0 against ranked teams

    I still get pissed every time I see Gonzaga up there. I can't wait till they meet a real team the tourney.
