I wouldn't be surprised if they are sellers at the deadline. They are still below .500 and they are about 20 games away from the deadline. If other teams continue to pull away and they are still hovering at .500, there is no point in adding a mediocre pitcher just for the sake of doing it. Also, he doesn't have to explain anything. He will just come up with excuses.

While its pretty infuriating that they dumped their SS to cut payroll (then lied to us about adding pitching), Scutaro doesnt put them in a much better position than they are in right now. Either way they are still potentially a last place team.

Magadan has been fine. If it weren't for the offense, they would be much further back right now. He was handed some pretty tough breaks and they have managed to hit the ball pretty well. -

I wouldnt say Im back. Just pissed off. I love this franchise. I was born and raised to love it.....but this TEAM is infuriating. Let me be clear as well. I stopped posting 5 weeks ago regularly because I was tired of arguing with apologists, not because of the success of the team. I love them today, tomorrow...I love them next year....I love them win or lose.

Love how all the apologists disappear on the forum when they realize the team really does suck. Pretty much every prediction I had this offseason came true. Actually, I thought they were a third place team again this year......they are craptastically worse. BTW RSR, f*** yourself.

The good thing for us, is that while we are struggling.....its against some of the best teams in baseball. The A's and Orioles are both excellent teams.
