It isn't just hitting. They have some good young pitchers too. Bonderman is going to be very good (he shined in his first game this year), and Verlander is going to be very good IMO. He's pitching tonight in Ameriquest against the same Texas lineup that Beckett went 7 IP, 5 K, 1 ER against, except he's gone 5 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 6 K. Bonderman sits at 93-95, Verlander is mid-to-high 90's with a +curve and a decent change. The also picked up Kenny Rogers, who is nuts, but a decent pitcher moving into one of the better pitcher's parks (Comerica). They'll be in the mix for the Central.
