    I'm about | | (distance between fingers) close to agreeing with you SCM33. Hansen has been a huge disappointment thus far, but I'm not all the way ready to write him completely off. He gets one more shot with the big club from me. Provided he can maintain his good start to this year, he should earn it within a month or so as other options in the current 'pen continue to struggle and/or someone gets hurt. When/if he gets that shot, he needs to set them down right quick or I think he's done for good. He appears to be especially sensitive to the biggest stage (MDC too). No swagger. Another failure and I think he's wrecked between the ears.

    Jon Still loves the Cal League. Cracked 2 today for the JetHawks, giving him 4 on the season in 4 games. Anyone have anything on his receiving skills?

    Only time of the week where there's only one game in primetime on the East coast. Might as well have a place to discuss the games for those watching. Season opener features and nice pitcher's duel. Verlander vs. Buehrle, 1-1 in the 4th.

    They added him the day of his start. I placed my waiver claim the morning of his start. I was 12th of 16 on the waiver wire and very surprised I got him. Volquez made his first Reds start today, and he's got similar stuff. All of a sudden, I want to watch 40% of the Reds games.

    I realize they are tired after the travel and all, but letting Lugo swing the bat here scores a -14 on the "Doing s*** that Makes Sense Scale". You have a righty closer who is tough on righties and a lefty bat with more power sitting on the bench. One swing of the bat ties the game. At least try it.

    MDC blows. I think last year was a huge fluke. If you look at his IP, BB, and K, they are all relatively the same from his awful '06, the major difference was in H, but that fluctuates with BABIP. I have yet to have confidence when he enters a game.

    Edison Volquez is mowing them down in Cincy. He and Cueto, if they are legitimately the pitchers they have shown this week, make them instant contenders. He's struggling a bit with command this inning, which has brought out the pitching coach, Dick Pole. No, I didn't make that name up. Hanging curve to Wells, just like '06.

    Wow, I seep out to the store and I see Snyder and Corey are vying to see who gets sent down tonight. Dusseldorf doing his thing too in NY. I agree with the sentiment that we will have concerns outside NY this year. Toronto and Tampa look like they could both make a run, provided their SPs stay healthy.

    Kid sacked up when he had a chance to explode there. WTF is up with the luck today? Thomas' bloop was piss poor contact, and we've roped two down the line for 3 outs.

    Buchholz faces the minimum with 2 K's, no thanks to Lugo. Buch's quick feet and move to 1st will slow down the running game.

    It's gotten better each year. Premium streams at 800kbps and 1.2Mbps now. The standard version you probably used streamed at 350kbps. And, Mosaic rules. Six games at once, and you can watch from anywhere you have internet connection.
