    Quite frankly, what you like is of little importance. The calculus of winning baseball is to score more than you give up. The better your pitching and defense, the higher your winning percentage will be with a given amount of differential. Yes, and offense is important, but it's only half the game. This team will hit. They just aren't right now.

    I'm well aware of the Sox' struggles. I just didn't see anyone proclaiming their awesomeness going into the season. For a couple of years running, there have been "Thousand Run Offense" predictions from some Yankee fans. The table is a play on that.
