  1. i just find it so funny that he mentions the last wknd series, with no mentione whatsoever of the 17-1 blowout Sox handed the Yanks, the second such game Sox beat them with that score this season
  2. well yeah true point, beginning of season NY were in 1st place
  3. HYzdu has currently been designated for assignment, he could be sent to pawtucket after 10 days have passed and he calims on waivers
  4. ok fine if you want him blowing leads, yankees wont always come back and win--- 3-43 record of winning fter trailing into the 9th inning
  5. did he blow a lead, yes or no??
  6. yes but he did in fact walk all over the NY organization by gettin teams scared off and having torre to kiss sheffield's feet saying he wont be traded Really I had no f***ing clue you were talking about sheffield. dude i was just making the point yankees got their share of players who do the walking. but yea ok with the sox, it is like that, mhmm by the way congratulations on gettin embree may I wish many blown saves for your team
  7. Two words.. Gary Sheffield. He was supposed to be traded in may/june but then he started making a hissy fit saying he will make any new team's clubhouse uncomfortable as possible if traded, lets see that would be Sheffroids walking over the NY organization since no teams were interested in him after he said that. check and mate
  8. David Wells on postgame show: "I love Manny a lot, hes my boy and I just think the world of him. Its just that in some games as the last game we played against Tampa and with him refusing to Tito not to play even though we were losing Trot to the DL, that was just really selfish of him. Hes gotta know that puts us in a big bind him going onto the bench when we really need him." Johnny Damon "Yeah, that Tampa series was a whirlwind of events. The boos hear at Fenway for Manny, well most of them really are deserved. We wont get that far without Manny on same team, the stats he pulls in four team is trememndous, but at same time he has got to realize he needs to step up for his team. This whole privacy issue is another thing I dont understand, whether you are in New York or Kansas City, people will know who you are, everyone by now knows who the Red Sox players are after winning the World Series. Still thru and Thru, we will have Manny's back.
  9. it wasnt manny's decision this time, it was francona's decision pulling him aside and telling him hed like Manny to have the day off to clear his head from all the trade buzz about him and the boo-birds of Fenway
  10. yes!!!! it has been confirmed, dinardo has been optioned back to pawtucket for papelbon to take the mound, awesome stuff
  11. yahoo sports mlb probably may had misled me with showing jeremi gonzalez is def. set for tomorrow's game--Nick Frede said the current choices to start are Jeremi Gonzalez, Lenny Dinardo, and Jon Papelbon--of course I would like to see Papelbon be called up to make his majors debut, Id like that a lot cuz I will be there, so excited, got field box seatsjust basically feet away from the bullpens and will be sure to take some pictures and post them on here for ya guys
  12. niice stuff 4th straight win, 8 out of last 10 games won, thank god starting to see Sox back to their winning ways----Mid July was bad to watch more or less
  13. Chris Snow of the Boston Globe had said in a pre-game show last week that yes Pedroia has had the hit by pitch, but Sox are still looking at him as the next 2nd baseman and spring training is 7, 8 months away from now really
  14. Game 1: Wells Game 2: Schilling Game 3: Clement Game 4: Wakefield yea id like that
  15. Bellhorn's contract is up this season and Dustin Pedroia is highly rumored as the starting 2nd baseman for 2006. Id still very much like to see Tony G stay on the Sox as a backup infielder which is what he has been most of his career.
  16. Tony G!!! my boy scored all the way from 1 st and who cant beat what mueller does Tito keep Tony G as the 2nd baseman even when bellhorn does come back please
  17. pitcher vs batter matchups: Tonight amidst Manny being unexpectedly pulled from the lineup (traded maybe??!), David Wells takes the balls for the Red Sox who are looking for their 4th straight win. David Wells has had a great history against Minnesota including a no hitter in 98, 18-6 record with just a 2.26 ERA. The Red Sox also get to welcome back a clubhouse favorite, Gabe Kapler who was put into the lineup because of Manny's disappearance. 18. im not lying dude, NESN game report stated it as a fact
  19. breaking news as it was seeming Manny would be in for tonights game, he has been at the last minute, indeed been pulled from appearing, and Gabe Kaplr will take his place. I do think a trade is afoot
  20. in his first game, Byrnes went 1 for 5 with an RBI
  21. very true edgar is in fact in first season of a 4 season $40 million contract, D-Rays wouldnt be able at all to take on his contract. you do realize their salary cap is around $40 million?
  22. yahoo sports mlb, the red sox team section shows the current series , Twins, and it shows for Sunday's start being Jeremi Gonzalez
  23. Jeremi has started one game against the Twins, lasting 5 innings with just 2 runs on 5 hits, basically a 1.80 ERA.
  24. i wasnt taking a shot as i had said,
