    Manny will sit out for todays game and could come in late innings as a pinch hitter if needs be, terry stated his vision is currently not what it needs to be. Tony Graffanino is out for today because of family issues, but will make it to the park as soon as he can

    hey remember back in 2003 johnny damon and damian jackson collided into each other on almsot exact same play, though Johnny didnt fare at all better than manny and rent. he had to be put on a stretcher and sent to the hospital. he had these side splitting headaches for 2 months and still gets them sometimes. it couldve been a lot worse, but i can see if Manny needs the one day today off, the red sox medical staff did list him as "day-to-day", so i dont see this at all as Manny is paying them off or something dude, so he can get more time off

    i dont "love this new guy", just have lot of respect for him, have been watching him play games while he was a royal. id still like to see tony get a contract deal with the sox, even just as a backup

    Wells did sign a 2 season contract last fall, and i can only think what hes doing this year, no argument will have him doing his 2nd season of duty for the Sox

    Wells even said he has the great deal of hate towards Reggie Jackson, "Mr. October", himself. Wells met him in the Yankees clubhouse and asked for his autograph, Reggie was just annoyed by him for some reason and said fine give me your damn ball im a busy guy. Wells just reacted "hey reggie" and threw the ball into the nearest trash can, ah yea boomer . On Nesn pre-game report, Wells talking about him, "Man I hate that guy so much that you wouldnt believe, a jerk is what he is"

    he's sure to fulfill that more with his next start being game 2 against the minnesota twins on saturday

    oh shut the hell up man, there is no f***ing reason to hate rent. and also Manny will be out just likely for todays game, it was more than a bloody nose with his eye being punched by rent's glove full force

    well i think they kinda need a backup 1st baseman anyway dude, if god forbid millar gets hurt as well

    plus there was that concern of him getting hit in the eye, i see him coming back tomorrow and with rent its a 50/50 chance he'll show up tonight

    It has just been reported Sox have placed Olerud on the 15 Day DL, sucks I know but with the Sox being out a 1st base backup, well guess what? Roberto Petagine will be getting the call up and join the team for tomorrow's finale against the royals

    They had Bellhorn sit out for tonight's Pawtucket game, Pedroia got the start and also belted his first homerun in Triple A league. I dont know its just Pedroia is a great player but currently batting around .240, im thinking so far Id like anyway for Sox to keep on to Tony to start as 2nd baseman for 06, then dustin getting the call up in 07 with Tony going back to the backup duties he has done most of his career. just a thought of mine

    NESN made Tony G the star of tonights game and Dennis Eckersley stated hed like very much so to see Tony as the regular 2nd baseman for rest of 05

    um ok none of the sox players do I have on my s*** list, except for Bellhorn--Manny and Edgar collided hard into each other, and I can fully see why Manny as well as Edgar was brought out of the game from that. The offense and defense were good, just wade is still rocky in pitching

    wow nice dive and catch by millar--other than that, my thoughts are with Manny and Edgar and hope theyre able to recover and come back as quick as tomorrow, i hope anyway

    because Tony G has been producing on a friggin consistent basis his first 10 games!! tonight hes 2 for 4, 2 runs scored, RBi and a stolen base

    David Wells is very dominant when he comes up to pitch excluding the first games of the season and the time he was hurt. And has started in 4 shutout games for the Red Sox
