  1. actually if you read this whole thread I started off in the first post by saying how Yankee fans think of Curt as an ******* and only cares about himself and what he has got to say, it is constructive because thats the truth and all I hear from Yankee fans that come my way.
  2. well thats an intelligent post, if i ever seen one...
  3. despite the leadoff triple Manny couldve caught or at least held it to a double. Curt was lights out his first 3 innings. I mean a triple came with no outs, and with his pitching great defense behind him he retired the next 3 batters he had faced. The 3rd inning he had to throw like 25 pitches, which maybe had worn him down but still he went deeper into the game and threw over 100 pitches.
  4. ?? check your stats bro, Curt in the 2004 playoffs went 3-1 with a 3.57 ERA. That 3 innings you were talking about, thats when he injured his ankle against the Angels. yea i think he kinda quieted the Yankees bats down when he came back against them along with striking out the side
  5. because I hate seeing Yankee fans calling him a loud mouth ass who only cares about himself and what he has got to say...
  6. nope Derek Lee will still be on his contract with the cubs, heres a list of free agent 1st baseman this offseason: Rafael Palmeiro (helllll no), Jose Offerman, Frank Thomas (Player + Team option), J.T. Snow, John Olerud, Roberto Petagine, Dave Hansen, Brad Fullmer, Julio Franco, Aubrey Huff, Tim Salmon, Doug Mientkiewicz (Vesting Option), Kevin Millar, Paul Konerko, Dmitri Young (Team Option), Scott Hatteberg (Team Option), Eduardo Perez, Robert Fick, Greg Colbrunn, Mark Sweeney, Tino Martinez (Team Option), Ruben Sierra, Daryle Ward, Travis Lee, Olmedo Saenz, Erubiel Durazo, Brian Buchanan
  7. on yes boards, didnt take them any time http://boards.yesnetwork.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=60267
  8. Sox will not trade Wells, dude he signed a 2 year contract, and why would sox trade him for a prospect?? oh yea Wake has been inconsistent, leads the pitching staff in wins and innings pitched, Wake will not be in the bullpen in 2006. See his last game he pitched in, he retired the last 16 batters he faced. Schilling is getting better with each start he does, and I see him returning as well as Wells if he doesnt retire. Sox will most likely give Wade Miller another chance, and there is still a possibility he could return this month. I do agree with you on Bronson, he's been the most inconsistent of the starters, have him or Gonzo as the long reliever next season 1. Schilling 2. Wells 3. Clement 4. Wakefield 5. Miller (AJ Burnett if Sox dont give Miller an extension, as well questions about boomer and schil) 6. Papelbon And by the way Wagner, is looking for a 3 year deal at just under $30 million, I dont see Theo shelling that out.
  9. something for the Yankee fans to think about, type of guy he is
  10. hey dumbass, (1) Trot wont be a free agnet this season (2) he's kind of a f***ing stale of the Red Sox organization and Sox have nowehere near in their minds to trade him. God no Sox player is good enough for ya. first tek now trot?? Daisuke Matsuzaka
  11. you dont understand, location is key and he was pinpointing that accurately, oh and by the way tek was guiding him what pitches to throw. 1.2 innings with no hits, damn you tek
  12. he's a useless person to talk to. if he is actually a sox fan, a disgraceful fan at that, nothing but a bandwagoner I can see
  13. regardless dude, each start that passes he gets better. 4 runs is fewset he has allowed in a start now, is throwing a lot more pitches and went into the 7th inning today. His velocity is up to 94/95, and location just needs to be tweaked. yest the schilling of ole' did make couple appearances. In 3rd inning gave off a leadoff triple, but then retired the next 3 batters to stop a run from scoring. All he needs is confidence and web gems defense behind him and he's bound to get better as Seotember pennant push goes along... its a fact
  14. okkk here we go... your comment that the reason this season's bullpen ERA is high is because of Jason Varitek, is just so assinine. I remember countless times on replays on NESN and ESPN, the announcers would be saying Varitek has his glove where he wants the ball thrown and instead the reliever would throw it way off from that location. like take foulke's grand slam he gave up to travis haffner, from Jerry Remy "you see Varitek had his glove positioned in the top right corner, instead foulke left a hanging fastball thru the middle of the strike zone" the biggest problem this year in relieving this season has been their location, not the captain behind the plate!!
  15. we've been through this before, only person who agrees with you is guybo (who isnt here anymore), everyone else on here loves 'Rent. deal with he is here to stay, crawl back into the cave you came out of...
  16. Foulke is promising in his first 2 relief appearances since he came back, including baltimore has pitched 2 innings giving up 1 hit, 1 K--His location is his old self, he just needs to get his velocity up, which is right now at 87/88
  17. Raffy said in a recent report he's still considering coming back in 2006
  18. how about wakefield who went 8 strong innings limiting pittsburgh to runs in a 2-0 defeat? the offense just didnt step up today as was that game
  19. god i can now see pages bashing on mueller, ortiz, tony g, etc...
  20. oh yea, Bronson vs Santana on game 2
  21. ah well still a 3 game lead, Im not gonna get ahead of myself, will be taking one game at a time. Tomorrow is Game 1 against the Angels, Wakefield vs Lackey
  22. schillingouttheKs go over to his post about varitek, he's not a red sox fan at heart, just a bandwagoner
  23. Varitek has a .993 fielding% while Mirabelli is at .984 fielding%
  24. that is not tek's fault, remember mirabelli has caught relievers who had done bad. so embree, foulke, mantei, blaine neal, halamma and remlinger doing suck ass jobs is because of varitek. you got some screws loose up there. are you even a sox fan, with ur name being two of red sox's top prospects and all. god dude get a life and find someone actually worthy to bash on
