  5. best pitching: Brosnon continuing the stretch of dominant pitching from the Sox this week. 8 strong innings allowing 3 runs on 8 hits. Timlin with his 7 save of the year, and 5th save in the last 5 opportunities. best offense: Millar back to his 2004 self with his ninth shot. Cora, Damon, Trot and Papi all contributing. dishonorable mention: manny he had grounded into 2 double plays tonight, his batting average and power is shrinking each game best defense: the rag-tag duo of edgahh and cora

  11. bronson at 94 pitches, I can see him pitch into the 8th!! which would be, get this, the 4th time in 5 games a Sox starting pitcher has gone at least 8 innings--already in the past 4 games, Sox starters have gone 3-1 with a 2.13 ERA
  12. reliever Kevin Gregg of the Angels so far has the Sox's number this season, has now gone 4 innings total of relief allowing just 2 hits, no runs, 1 K
  13. Bronson is at 85 pitches, so could even have shot at the 8th if 7th is set down quickly in order
  14. awesome play bronson, jeez I had thought that wouldve been an infield single to load the bases. now its been 4 straight shutout innings for him
  15. Cora has been this year's pokey reese, awesome trade theo made getting rid of ramon vazquez for him--i dont have any doubts when I see he is starting, his offense has gotten better with the sox as well
