  13. rent has come around with the offense numbers and could be a .300 hitter by season's end. I just think also he had to get used to the quirky dimensions of the park, afterall he only had played at Fenway several times before this season. The errors have mostly come from him just charging the ball too much at times
  14. best pitching: Clement back to his old form, Timlin getting the save after having to work harder best offense: Millar back to his 2004 self with a another homerun, 3 RBIs best defense: kapler dishonorable mention: edgar almost costing the Sox the win
  15. i know ive been saying this, but im just so excited have to say it again.. Matt Clement the f***ing ace of the first half is back!! Today had went 8 strong innings giving 2 earned runs on 5 hits, 2 walks, 4 Ks. He is about to receive his 13th win, hasnt pitched into the 8th inning since July 6 vs Texas. The last time Clement has allowed more than 3 earned runs was on Aug 4 vs royals. And has lowered his ERA from 4.27 to 4.18 Sep 3: BAL- 8 innings, 5 hits, 4 Runs (2 Earned) 2 Walks, 4 Ks Aug 29: TAM- 5 innings, 6 hits, 3 Runs, 1 Walk, 2 Ks Aug 19: LAA- 7 innings, 6 hits, 1 Run, 1 Walk, 5 Ks Aug 9: TEX- 6 innings, 6 hits, 2 Runs (1 Earned), 2 Walks, 6 Ks Aug 4: KAN- 5 innings, 5 hits, 6 Runs, 4 Walks, 5 Ks
  16. Youk is out of the game earlier, Alejandro Machado now at 2nd base
  17. Its September where the best games of the regular season are played, dont mind much, it adds diversity and fun
  18. Jorge throws yet another wild pitch, tek to 3rd base
  19. also lets not forget we are seeing what made Edgar a great player for the Cards
  20. as I have said before, in past couple of weeks Millar is starting to become more like his 2004 self while Clement is becoming to belike what he was in the 1st half
  21. and Aaron Small has just thrown a complete shutout game against the A's, allowing 5 hits, 2 walks, 3 Ks. lowering his ERA from 3.03 to 2.42
