  1. Tavarez has now alllowed 9 Hits through 4+ innings, he's not going to last much longer
  2. 8 men left on base through 4, Sox are really letting this kid get by First 2 innings- 58 pitches Last 2 innings- 22 pitches
  3. Jerry: At some point this year, Tavarez may have to go to the bullpen He may have to?
  4. Whoa his foot was already on the bag easily before the ball came No question about it
  5. 7 men LOB Damn umps this year suck
  6. Dusty is something else in the field. I wasnt sure when I heard his Pawtucket manager say "This kid, who knows, just might reach that level on defense where he's considered for a gold glove" Another f***ing 2 out hit !!
  7. EDIT damnn we got it tied but the kid is left off the hook, 6 LOB in 2 innings
  8. I heart Pedroia, this kid flashes some nice leather
  9. what the f***ing hell, how the f*** was that a strike??? Youk also got a "strike" 2 call that was down around his ankles
  10. 4th straight batter with still 2 outs
  11. We're not saying you 2 cant be excited about this team right now. Its a long season ahead so its good to be realistic about things, a lot of things can happen so lets not give them the title just yet
  12. Adam Im optimistic as any Sox fan that we'll be seeing our boys playing games in October... but its a long season, Sox dont have the title with still 129 games to go
  13. Per rotoworld Hansack sent down. Javier Lopez called up from Pawtucket, his role of course will be the 2nd lefty specialist
  14. I'll give you Hughes Um didnt Clemens average 5 or 6 innings last year in the NL Central?
  15. Just f***ing win. Tavarez has little by little built up some confidence from me, Ive got a feeling he can keep the O's bats at bay while the Sox rough up this relief pitcher
  16. Talking out of my ass? haha alrighty Sorry but its fact the Yankees pitching staff is one of the worst striking out people. Youre one not good with stats. First you try to say Schilling is bad in the playoffs, regardless his career ERA in the playoffs is under 3! Now youre trying to say Im wrong about how bad they are at striking out people this year. As a team theyve racked up K's with the best of them, consistently putting up 1000+ Ks. Through the first 33 games it stands as 173 Ks, a little over 5K avg per game The f*** do I care what happened in the past, which you do a lot to as a defense mechanism.
  17. 63-66 to go, still wagering an 86-76 season record?
  18. Yesss Sox win! 23-10 Offense keeps it rolling, outscored the Blue Jays 26-5 Starting pitching... Im just in awe. Wake improves to 4-3 with a 1.79 ERA. Wake now has the lowest ERA in the AL, Sox first team with 4 starting pitchers getting 4 wins apiece Onto Fenway Park against the Orioles Julian Tavarez vs Brian Burress Curt Schilling vs Steve Trachsel Josh Beckett vs Jeremy Guthrie
  19. Damn, Hinske is really hated in Toronto. Its not like he was a free agent & signed with the rival Sox, the Blue Jays traded him. Maybe they should boo the FO because the Sox just had to give up cash considerations
  20. This rotation is f***ing sick Wake will be given a tough test next time out, facing the Tigers at Fenway. The same team in one game (he still ended up winning), allowed a career high 6 HRs
  21. Thats awesome to hear, Beckett. Def have to give updates My friend at work said he used to play against Chris Carpenter during high school.
  22. 16 straight retired, looking like a great year for Wake
  23. snowball effect continues, Victor Zambrano added to the DL
