    On the subject of Notre Dame players making money as professionals in one sport, yet remaining eligible to play football for the Irish, Tommy Zbikowksi, the Notre Dame Safety, won his first fight as a professional boxer by knocking his opponent out in 49 seconds. I believe his opponent came to the ring wearing an Ohio State football jersey.

    D-Wade shot as many free throws as the entire Dallas team. He could've been called for a pushoff on that last play too, but definetely shouldn't have been called given the circumstances. I think Josh Howard comes out and tears the Heat apart in game 6. It was a tough break for him, but the refs made the right call. Not sure what was going through his head.

    Huh? Dallas isn't my team. I lose absolutely no sleep if they lose this series. Besides, I said time and time again that the Nuggets deserved to lose that series. My lone comment about game 1 and 2 was, and I'll paraphrase, 'The Nuggets look like s***, but can we atleast get a call', and if I remember correctly, was at a time when 'Melo consistently got molested in his attempt to get to the hoop without calls. Besides, the whistle every five seconds does nothing to help the Nuggets, they're pathetic in the half court. edit: I would bet there's a trend that team's in an 0-2 deficit almost always get the majority of the calls in game 3. Specifically in the later rounds. The Nuggets/Clippers game 3 you referenced goes right along with that idea.

    Nothing wrong with calling the man an idiot. It's the truth. Quite frankly, he's lucky to be alive. Not 'hating on him', and I hope he'll make a full recovery, but he has an obligation to his team and he let his teammates down.

I'm cheering for USA as much as the next guy, but I didn't mind seeing them get their asses kicked after all the talk heading into the World Cup about how they were looking for respect and how they were a 'sleeping giant' -- well coach, the giant is, apparently, still sleeping.

    Shaq has been on MUCH better teams since the split than Kobe has. Much, much better. D-Wade has more talent alone than Kobe's teammates combined.

    They actually didn't have game 1 in hand when Roloson got injured. He'd given up 4 of the 5 Carolina goals in that game, meaning that the game was tied when he had to leave it.
