  1. Ironically enough, you just used them in the same sentence. bah, Coco beat me to it.
  2. So far, according to gamecast, we have two infield singles to SS. Are these balls that Jeter would've made the play on?
  3. Good through 4! To think, some of you said you'd be happy if he could get through 5 or 6 batters.
  4. Nifty little piece of trivia there.
  5. Ahh, ok. My ESPN Gamecast must be f***ing up some more. Does anybody else who relies on that experience a lot of problems with it? It's still better than Sportsline's though.
  6. Good point. Atleast Clemens has been out of practice.
  7. Pauley's good through 3. How many pitches is he at? It's got to be less than 35, eh?
  8. There's already a thread about this, ain't there? Anyways, in that thread I commented that the MLB All-Star game voting has officially become as much of a joke as the NBA's All-Star voting and I stand by that.
  9. I googled mine, for the record. But yeah, that's only because the ones on my hard drive didn't show the resemblance as much.
  10. http://www.soxprospects.com/players/images/pauley.david.jpghttp://spider.georgetowncollege.edu/georgetonian/022504/pics/greg.jpg Bah... I got beat to the punch!
  11. Definetely an accurate comparison, though.
  12. I am, however, baffled by the fact that he strikes out A-Rod and then walks Posada in 4 pitches...
  13. Not doing so bad so far. He's got good stuff -- just struck out A-Rod -- and the only hit he's given up was on a bunt.
  14. But we've got Wang at 47 (?) pitches through two. And you have to figure we'll get a timely hit eventually... right?
  15. ESPN Gamecast sucks. It went from Damon on first with Cabrera up and no outs to a ground ball to end the inning. Was it Melky or Giambi who hit into the DP?
  16. I believe he's made it fairly obvious what he wants. Take the advice from guys like Schilling, who have attempted to help him. He's learning real quick that the AL East ain't the National League. Another key to sports is using the opinions and advice of others to constantly improve yourself rather than keep the 'I do it my own way' attitude, particularly when it's not working.
  17. I can't imagine Pauley doing much worse than our "ace", Josh Beckett, did, eh?
  18. I don't. The site is garbage -- just like the television network.
  19. Roloson's out for the series. Without him they're barely a playoff caliber team. I'd be shocked if Edmonton can even make a series of it, now.
  20. He has 106 pitches through 7 1/3... think he can even finish the game?
  21. He also has a Homerun in the game.
  22. Wake is certainly more of our ace than Beckett is. edit: Of course, that's moot. Schilling is our ace.
  23. Ridiculous. That's a fair ball! edit: What the hell was the ruling?! This makes no sense to me.
