  1. Wooooooooooooooooooooooo Johnny damon! Woooo hooo! Nice hit. Bastard.
  2. Who are you and why are you antagonizing people about the playoffs? don't you have some yankee friends you could play with?
  3. Wow, Tito of little faith. Is this the ultimate closer by committee? Two relievers up in the pen?
  4. Ohh burn. Your mom. Isn't there a game on tonight?
  5. I don't want to watch a devistating loss tonight. Or even a non-devistating (cause it doesn't matter) loss. They should win this game.
  6. Timlin. The savior. For the Yankees.
  7. Coco has a lot more to offer than he showed this year. He should get much better at playing CF in Fenway and if his bat comes back then his occasionally sloppy defense becomes much less important. Nice DP Loretta
  8. That said, he didn't get the job done (other than seeing enough pitches to get a WP)
  9. Pedroia is a pain in the ass to pitch to.
  10. f*** yeah! WP scores the tying run. NOW TURN ON ONE PEDROIA!
  11. Another big spot for Pedroia. Nice. C'mon little man. Let's do this here!
  12. Has anyone ever seen a team that hits more weak-ass popups to the infield with RISP? Seriously, its awful.
  13. MVP MVP MVP How come everyone can agree that Howard is the MVP in the NL but they scoff at Papi being it in the AL? If Jeter deserves it then doesn't Jose Reyes deserve a look too? The guy has 19 HR and 17 3B with 50+ SBs while being a SS for the OTHER team with the best record in its own league. It feels inconsistent for some reason.
  14. That plate was in the opposite batters box apparently. All ESPN can talk about is Jeter, although I'm impressed that Morgan isn't giving his opinion too strongly quite yet.
  15. Well, the Sox showed signs of life so far, and at least seem to be playing for pride. I'm proud of these guys for coming into NY and not just rolling over. It's the small things now I guess.
  16. It's great to see Pedroia get a vote of confidence from Francona. I still can't imagine not wanting BOTH Loretta and Pedroia next year. I mean, Cora is somewhat valuable, but Loretta has such great ABs, as does Pedroia. With injuries and such doesn't it make sense to at least think about keeping them both, especially since Pedroia can play SS if needed.
  17. f***ing huge double by Pedroia!
  18. this is a series I just want the sox to win for pride's sake.
  19. Hansen isn't that bad man. He's young but he's been in a lot of biggish situations for a 23 year old. In 2 years we won't be disappointed that we have Hansen, I assure you.
  20. SeaDogs have lost two straight in the playoffs now. It appears they gave up 2 in the 9th today to lose at home. Series tied 2-2
  21. The Yankee announcers LOVE Mark Loretta. He IS a great player.
  22. Yeah, we gotta hang onto Gonzo. I understand that Coco looks bad, but I also assume that there is something wrong with him. I'm not sure what it is, although I've heard his finger has still been bothering him. The thing is that I WANT to like Coco. I like his style of play and I think he seems like the type of guy I can imagine winning a WS or two with this team. He's just not clicking right now for whatever reason.
  23. There is no way Krapler could be on this roster next year, is there? No... no. If this FO really has a "plan" for this team, then kapler's departure better be up near the top of the list. I would much rather have Coco Crisp doing Kaplar's role than Kapler doing Kapler's role. BTW, Pedroia has looked much more comfortable at the plate recently, hasn't he?
