It has the distinct feeling of a game where that would happen. V's yelling and the players screaming from the bench did show some semblance of this team caring quite about. Valentine stayed in the dugout giving signs for a few minutes before he left.

V and some players appear to be ejected because the ump blew a call where Middlebrooks was turning to bunt, got it on the arm, is penalized a strike and in a lot of pain. Looks like Beckett and V were ejected.

I don't love the Aceves call here. It has the potential to be a gelling move, if it works. It also has the ability to be very dejecting if it doesn't work out. In so far as there's any season left, it rests on them being able to get the next 4 outs.

Exactly. That was just so typical of this season. Valentine gets s*** for taking Crawford out in late innings. Leaves him in there. Crawford actually has to throw a rocket from LF with the game on the line. Is it 2013 yet?

I voted for "Sell" because I take "deadwood" to mean those who are laving after this year and who the Sox don't plan on resigning. I actually think its a combination of #2 and #3
