  1. I gotta admit the Sox have a helluva rotation, and the offense is always top-notch. I still give the Yankee offense a little bit of an edge though. yes u iz
  2. Anxiously waiting for the Granderson press conference to get underway. I'm curious what number he takes. He wants 28 but prior to the trade Girardi said he was gonna use it. I know it's a longshot but I'm kinda hoping he takes 82. Also, hopefully whatever number he gets is just temporary and he can switch to 28 next season
  3. Very awkward sight.
  4. I would be very pleased if they brought back Nick Johnson. I always liked him when he was here and he's got a good enough glove to spell Tex from time to time.
  5. Basically. I think Hinske would be better since he can play the corners in both the infield and the outfield. More depth and versatility.
  6. All three of the prospects they gave up were pretty good, especially Aumont. But all in all I have to say that it looks to be a great deal for them.
  7. Believe me, they don't want you.
  8. Wow dude. You'd get lost in a snow storm.
  9. That was hilarious, I can't believe I never saw that thread before.
  10. If you have to stop and think about f***ing a movie star then you need to seriously consider your sexuality. Unless we're talking Rosie or Whoopie or something...then that's a different story. lmao....idk why but I crack up everytime I hear somebody call a ginger "firecrotch".
  11. I'd still hit it
  12. Why you guys hate on the Cards? That's my #2 team right there. Great baseball city, class organization, tons of history.
  13. Other way around as far as I understand. Cameron at 11:30 and Lackey at 1:30 (from MLBTR)
  14. Good, I don't want the Yankees to match that. f*** Holliday....let him stay in St. Louis. I think our offense will be fine though.
  15. I'd still hit it
  16. Smart ass lol
  17. I just realized that the Yankees open up at home against the Angels. It's nice that Matsui will get to be there to get his ring and be a part of the ceremonies.
  18. Relax Gom, Cervelli will do fine. He may not be the everyday catcher of the future, but I can see him sticking here for a long time. A catching tandem of Montero and Cervelli or Romine and Cervelli (with Montero as a DH) should be more than adaquete. I don't even want to think about Joe Mauer. It's such a glutonous thought, I truly hope he stays in Minnesota. I'm pretty confident that we're good behind the plate for a long time. Losing Molina is NOT going to be a devestating blow to the Yankees. He's a completely one dimensional player, and while he may be one of the best 2 or 3 DEFENSIVE catchers in the league, Cervelli isn't much of a downgrade and can also hit and run much better than Molina. You're always bitching that Cashman doesn't draft and promote through the organization well...well give him a chance. Forget about Mauer, forget about Molina. Give the young catchers a shot, I really think we have something there.
