  1. I can't imagine Jed Lowrie is added into the deal...especially for Jack Wilson
  2. Be that as it may he is 36 years old and a pain in the ass. Not to mention any team will have him for 2 months before he signs with the Yankees to be a DH.
  3. Depends who it is...if they are getting Mike Stanton and Ryan Tucker and losing a low level prospect...who cares?
  4. HAHA this team is retarded right now
  5. We need to get past Thursday...I can't help but think all this trade deadline stuff is wreaking havoc on the Red Sox psyche
  6. I'd rather have Jeremy Hermida than Jason Bay. If Colorado wants to get in on a 3 team deal including Matt Holliday then I'll be real happy.
  7. I still believe the idea is to trade Manny for Hermida then turn around and swing Hermida with another prospect for a bat to replace Manny. Thats a lot they need to make happen in a short span....not to mention they are looking for a reliever.
  8. The Florida Marlins??? trade Manny Ramirez for Hanley Ramirez
  9. The Red Sox are 61-47 and currently hold the 4th best record in the league..... BLOW IT UP!!!!
  10. Dustin Pedroia is my hero
  11. I think we can all agree to that. Maybe this will light a spark under this teams ass....or maybe they will pack it in....hard to tell
  12. As most Red Sox Nation does when things aren't going well. Everyone says things based on impulse. He sucks, release him, he's a fluke, blah blah blah.... A lot of people said the same stuff about Jon Lester...what is everyone saying now? 12 starts for Clay Buchholz does not determine his career as a big league pitcher. I'd rather see him face major league hitters and fight through tough times than face cupcakes in AAA which he has shown he can dominate. He is our #5 pitcher and if we are counting on our #5 pitcher to be the saving grace of this team then we aren't going anywhere....so whats the point?
  13. You are blaming the pitcher for a flyball? His line is about to be destroyed now that Craig Hansen is in...but he threw strikes and retired the first 7 players he faced and had Mike Lowell not made a rare error and we had a SS that could field....he would have had a very good game. It's baseball sometimes no matter how well you play it doesn't show.
  14. our defense has been the problem tonight...not Clay Buchholz JD Drew took an interesting route to that fly ball
  15. Good thing the Red Sox aren't run by anyone from Worcester
  16. Even if you are right....you think thats not something he can fix? Because he has a slight hestiation you don't think John Farrell would see it and bring it to his attention...
  17. Couldn't disagree more. Young pitchers struggle....they do go figure. His mechanics are actually pretty good but he could use some more muscle mass and fill out. His stuff is too good to dismiss as a "fluke" Unless you are trading him for a top MLB bat I don't agree.
  18. I can't wait for the day when everything clicks for Clay Buchholz
  19. You are saying Jose Tabata has more value than Jacoby Ellsbury?
  20. I wouldn't be surprised if the Red Sox were discussing Carlos Lee more than Miguel Tejada. They could be looking for a replacement if a deal for Manny can be struck.
  21. Wheels have come off quick for Dice-K
