  1. That play was unfortunate, but Fucholz deserves it.
  2. Price pitched into the 6th and gave up 4 runs. Not exactly a disaster.
  3. Yay it's Clay. That ought to make it an even matchup.
  4. Here goes GIDPedroia
  5. If we all took one sip of whiskey every time this announcer uses the word "moment", we would all have been flat on our backs drunk by the third inning. He's almost as bad as the new NESN announcer with his "scuffle".
  6. Tonight Price pitches 7 full innings, giving up only one run. Bullpen gives up one more in the ninth and Sox lose 2-1.
  7. He is Nomar's successor in the "just practicin' my golf swing" department.
  8. Only if they're in the line of fire when you're throwing the end table at the TV set.
  9. 18th now. It would be hilarious if both teams score 4 runs with 2 outs and have to keep on going.
  10. Tied at 1 in the 17th. Time to invoke the "flip a coin" rule lol.
  11. Price just put up what... 2 shaky starts? How many times in a row has he pitched 6, 7, 8 innings and barely given up two runs? This poor guy is afflicted with The Curse Of The Pedro; he could pitch nine innings and get 17 strikeouts while giving up only one run, but still get saddled with a loss.
  12. Pure luck that will run out soon enough.
  13. Everybody saddle up and get your gloves on... be ready to catch one of these souvenir balls if it comes your way.
  14. He got one lucky dog inning in before the Rangers commence to blasting the Clay pigeons again.
  15. His last time out, he got through a few innings without getting shelled. That earns him 4 more starts.
  16. Looks like Buchholz is off to a slow start today. Only one run spotted so far?
  17. Koji be klowning these murraf***as.
  18. "If that wasn't a ball, it would have been a strike" ~ Tim McCarver
  19. So far, so good. And f***holz isn't there to squander the lead tonight.
  20. Y'all get inordinately worked up over one game that didn't go so well. Giving up 7 runs and scoring 5 runs is not the worst night that a team can have. Even the best teams in all of baseball history have 20 nights like this over the course of their best season.
  21. If Buchholz gets scheduled for another start, we should all show up to demonstrate at FP with flaming torches and a sacrificial goat.
  22. You can tell by the look on Buchholz' face that he's pretty sure that he'll be starting for Pawtucket next Tuesday.
  23. This is what happens when you give a guy like Buchholz a 52nd chance.
  24. The bright side here is that they're not taking Buchholz off the hook tonight.
