    Lackey is still the one that made the terrible 3-1 pitch ... he still is largely responsible for Cervelli's homer. But yes, the ump didn't help earlier in the count.

    CC is really struggling vs Boston's righties. He probably should try to get on them, instead of just peppering the outer third. It's interesting that what has kept CC in the game is that Ellsbury/AdGon/Ortiz are a combined 0-7 tonight with 6 Ks.

    I'm with you. Was my first thought as well ... hate seeing guys get hurt, and hand/wrist/elbow things are quite tricky.
