you guys are absolutely rediculous.
look, we all know taking steriods can enchance muscle mass, but from what you guys say he doubled in size. first off, having a strict diet (strict and proper that is) along with an intense workout routine can put weight on ANY baseball player. look and bonds today and bonds when he first came into the league, yeah, he's very much so different but it's not as drastic as all you media tools think.
i put on 20% of my bodyweight by just working out and eating well, this is during school and not being able to afford the best foods either. someone like bonds who is filthy rich and probably has his own damn gym, personal trainer and chef can easily increase his body weight by 20%. i'm not saying he didn't use steroids, he did, but they are not the only reason he's a big guy. you need a strict serious workout in order to gain mass, with or without steriods.
his head size hasn't increased. anyone who says that is a friggan moron. stop spitting out exactly what the media writes, especially dan shittessy. form opinions of your own for petes sake. peoples head DO NOT GROW after the plates of your skull has fused. here, let me say it again, your skull is made up of plates, once they FUSE they no longer grow. taking steriods do not increase muscle mass in your face, you'de have to workout your face muscles too (:-/, bond insult waiting to happen). his head looks bigger because he's put on weight, when adding mass to your body you also increase triglyceride storage. the first place you will notice it is your face. go eat a very fatty meal, take before and after pics, you'll notice it on yourself.
i'll go more into detail on this when the semester is over and i have time to explain steriods to you tools. i'm not promoting steriods, all i'm saying is that if they are done properly they can be safe and help people in some way, yes, there are side affect but that's a risk some are willing to take. they are illegal in the US because too many retards teenage males would take them thinking they'll get huge. if teenagers can't depended to drink properly how can you expect them to take steriods properly.
steriods increase muscle mass, they don't increase hand eye coordination, mechanics, or ability to hit a baseball. that seems to be something everyone overlooks.
