  1. Yeah, he spat in Michael Pittman's face. I would be damn scared to do that, that guy is RIPPED.
  2. I miss Hannu.
  3. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Ahs2jMu_YQ11GhZ.6R3ukrE5nYcB?slug=ap-redskins-taylor&prov=ap&type=lgns I thought he would have gotten his head on straight by now, but apparently not. 46 YEARS IN PRISON? Wow.
  4. It's not worth it. Read a few threads or something, because everyone on here has different views at this issue.
  5. Sure, but it's easy for Schilling to say that when he's not a fan of the Boston Red Sox.
  6. ? You're not going to prove your points? That's sort of needed if you're going to talk sports.
  7. Welcome to TalkSox, cool to have someone from Australia. Anyway, we'll have to see if he can keep his head above water in the MLB. It's always tougher to come over here and be successful.
  8. Didn't you just post this in another thread?
  9. Well, a change of scenery could help. But I've seen more good things from Lowell than his disastrous 2005, but regardless of how well he plays this year, the Green Monster will help him. Oh yeah, I forgot to thank One Red Seat for that chart, I fished it up in a post he made awhile ago.
  10. http://www.simply-c.com/non-siteStuff/lowellProPlayer.gif This is what he's done in his career at Pro Player Stadium. Not substitute the left field with the Green Monster, and a shorter LF too. Lowell will put up solid, if not monstrous, numbers this year.
  11. Mr. Lowell, meet Mr. Green Monster. Mr. Green Monster, meet Mr. Lowell. That is all.
  12. Yeah, we're all willing to give you guys a shot. The stuff in my sig by the way is something that happened a LOOOONG time ago haha, but it doesn't mean much. Anyway, I'm sure you guys have a lot to offer, and I'm willing to cool down a bit and give you guys a shot. Forgive me if I had a short leash with you.
  13. Haha, you won't be attacked for not knowing a lot. Ask the question, we'll be more than happy to help you along the way. Welcome to TalkSox.
  14. If you think he'd be banned, and get the rest of you banned, save us some time, and just don't have him come over!
  15. Took the words out of my mouth.
  16. Why both? Besides I don't see how it is possible....If we get Crisp, the Guardians are going after Michaels for their CF..
  17. Of course we aren't, but we prefer him at 1B because Snow isn't much more than a late inning defensive replacement, and from what we've seen out of Youk, we can only go with him.
  18. Another one. Welcome.
  19. Holy s*** man, where have you been?
  20. What they said ^^
  21. So, essentially you're saying that even if we don't get Crisp, you're still willing to start Cora, who has a WORSE bat than Gonzalez? Sorry, we need to sign Gonzalez if we don't get Crisp, we can't have a CF and a SS who have depleted bats. If we have Crisp who brings a solid bat to the lineup, than I'm all for starting Cora at SS. However, we can't a dip with the bat anywhere on the field if we don't find that one bat we need. Crisp brings it. No Crisp and no Gonzalez just can't happen. We need 1 of the 2. And if not Crisp, then another CF who brings a bat to the lineup.
  22. I bolded the key word.
  23. That's not the point. If we get Crisp, a solid lead off man, we can afford to take a dip in the offensive part of the game. Look at the ChiSox. They were not based on offense last year, they had good pitching, and great defense. This team has enough power in it to take a dip in power at SS.
