  1. Trade Clement and Cora, a pitcher I want traded anyway, and a backup SS for Milledge? AND Nady after last year? Definitely. Butttt, I don't know how real this is if you don't have a link, no offense lol.
  2. Enrique Wilson? Hahah I have no idea.
  3. *Quick reminder of the PM option* Ok. Done. Anyway, I don't know much about Riske. I'm assuming he's young and pretty good arm. Does he upgrade our bullpen as much as people are saying he does?
  4. Exactly. There is no way he can recover that quickly, 4 months for his achilles tendon? Doesn't sound realistic, but maybe it really is happening. Oh well, don't rush it. We have 4 OFs and I would hate to see him get hurt again for something stupid like bringing him back too early. Get well, rest up, and come back when you're 100% healthy.
  5. Oh well, I just hope there aren't a bunch of piss drunk college students who are pissed tonight. I live seriously a 1.5 minute walk from the Conte Forum.
  6. Learning is a great thing And welcome to the site!
  7. A large amount of future successful prospects is more valuable to a team like the Angels. They have Vlad in their OF, and they compete every year. If they keep these top prospects their success will only continue on top of what it is now. I totally understand keeping the prospects. Plus Manny's contract is a bitch and a half, and Manny's a headache in himself.
  8. Exactly. Like I've said before... Mr. Lowell, meet the Green Monster.
  9. Stop freaking out, we're screwed IF anyone has a bad year. Lowell had one bad year, and he's moving to a hitter's ball park. He'll be fine.
  10. Bro, we keep repeating ourselves in that we think MJ is better because we feel he is. And you keep trying to somehow change the opinion, but it's not going to happen. Who cares who MJ had around him during his championship years? Take a look at who Kobe had around him during his championship years and you tell me that Kobe had no one around him. Kobe shoots that much because he has no one around him, and he scores that much. So what? The guys a good player, fine, but when it comes down to it, I'd rather have MJ than Kobe. And most people feel that way. And stop bringing in the court case s***, that's not true. Just because of his court thing or whatever doesn't take away from his ability to play basketball, and we all know that.
  11. Isn't this like an identical thread to one you started before... ?
  12. Piecing together pieces of the Marlins' '03 Championship team with pieces of the Sox' '04 Championship team. Looking good.
  13. I second that. Sorry guys, I also posted an official apology in another thread.
  14. Nice post, fair enough. I would also like to apologize for immaturely jumping on all of your backs. I cooled off, collected myself, and realized you all deserve a second chance and I should keep myself in check more. I'm sorry to any of you who I offended or anything like that, and I'm totally glad that you're all back to post and show us what you have to offer
  15. Hola amigo, como esta?
  16. Well, the Bruins have something to do with the Rangers, so it's okay. Besides, there was no Bruin talk going on that was too important anyway.
  17. Brady: 10-1 in the playoffs, with no Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Brandon Stokeley (I'll leave Dallas Clark out because Ben Watson is damn good.) Manning: 3-6 in the postseason. You tell me who you'd rather have in a situation to make your team win. People who say Manning are blinded by his records. Brady holds postseason records, that is, he holds the records in positions where his team needs a win in the clutch. Brady > Manning. Brady > Delhomme too, just for kicks. And oh yeah, god is a redsox FAN!, MJ won 6 championships with a supporting cast, and Kobe won 3 by himself? No. Kobe's supporting cast by championship season: '99-'00: Devean George, Brian Shaw, Rick Fox, Shaq, Derek Fisher, Robert Horry, Glen Rice, Tyronn Lue '00-'01: Brian Shaw, Isaiah Rider, Shaq, Tyronn Lue, Robert Horry, Horace Grant, Rick Fox, Derek Fisher, Devean George '01-'02: Derek Fisher, Rick Fox, Shaq, Devean George, Robert Horry, Brian Shaw, Mitch Richmond Kobe had a supporting cast too, bud. MJ worked with less skilled players than Kobe did. Sure, not all of the players I named are big names, but they're all solid players who contributed to the success of the Lakers during those seasons. MJ > Kobe. I don't even know why I wasted time with this post seeing as it's such a pointless argument.
  18. So far the score is 6-1 in favor of MJ...
  19. MJ. Story over.
  20. Hahahha, I would laugh if the Sox stalled talks with the Guardians now that they have Michaels to try and get Crisp for less. If Cleveland can't unload Crisp, and they have Michaels, what do they do? Nah, nevermind, they unload him elsewhere... Whatever, at least this is starting to mean that we will most likely end up with a lead off hitting CF by the start of the season! About time.
  21. Dude, I went deaf at how loud he was booed tonight. I've never sensed so much hatred from the fans towards a player in a long long time.
  22. Wow, the place was electric tonight. I was at the game, in the balcony, and let me say... Holy hell, there are some REAL fans up there Some drunk guy spilled his bear all over the people around him, then practically fell down the stairs in the aisle. He's lucky he didn't fall off the balcony. When Wally sunk all those 3's, no one was thinking about Ricky anymore, and rightfully so. Welcome to Beantown Wally!
