I knew this was going to happen. I thought the same thing about the NESN commercial too after seeing it many many times. I don't think everyone's on him. I just want to make sure he's 100%, and I don't care how long it takes. He needs to be healthy. Besides, I'm not missing him simply because Wily Mo has been hitting the cover off of the ball. Just take your time, and come back when you're 100% ready, Coco.

The reason he was in the lineup was purely because he had prior success against Mussina. Even though I was against putting him in, I understand the move. Prior to last night, Harris was 5 for 13 against Mussina in his career. However, I prefer to go off of recent performance no matter the pitcher. I much rather would have seen Wily Mo in there, and if Wily Mo wasn't going to be there, I wish it was Stern. There is no place on this team for Harris, he's an automatic out when he's in the lineup.

Haha, but yeah. I actually did hear someone I know talking about it after you brought it up. Like the next day. That basically solidified my believing the story.

People argue all the time, why woud he be suspended for that? Throwing s*** is what you get suspended for. EDIT: Well, after reading Optimist's post, I guess that was the case. How severe was his arguing that it made that worse than throwing his helmet?

Just so you all know, that rumor that Manny's wife put a call into the Red Sox to say Manny wanted a trade because he was cheating with Renteria's wife does have some truth to it. The Sox didn't have a choice to keep both, it was Manny or Edgar that had to go because that affair thing was really pissing the people involved off. When it came down to it, they had to trade Edgar instead, as trading away Manny wasn't reasonable. And after last year, trading Edgar was easier. And as far as predicting performance, of course you can't. The difference between Edgar and Arroyo is that Edgar's always had a track record of success. Granted, Arroyo gave lots of "quality" starts, his career ERA was 4+. And besides, it's a matter of time before the new lineups he faces get used to him. And about Willis, that's purely speculation.

Is there a record for consecutive hits being doubles?

... He was not tossed until after the helmet got thrown. I don't think he meant to hit the umpire, I rather think he meant to throw it towards home plate with his bat. Once the umpire saw that he actually tossed the helmet he got tossed. What I'm saying is he didn't "toss" his bat, or get thrown out for it. He dropped the bat at home plate. Whatever, he'll probably get 1 game. Even though I don't think he should get anything.

Who knows, who cares? It's not like it's disastrous if he plays RF. Mohr was always more of a CF anyway. Besides, Wily's future is in RF in the post-Trot era so who knows. Maybe this is a preview of the platoon with Trot that Wily Mo will have once Coco comes back... ?
