  1. Well, that would make sense, because June is less than 48 hours away.
  2. You forgot to mention that my mojo is here as well
  3. I read through last night's thread and I couldn't help but notice all the Tito bashing. I understand he could have used Foulke, but Riske needed to be used at some crucial point to get some real work in. It sucked, but if you're going to blame anyone, blame Clement for getting us in that position. Our bullpen busted its ass last night giving us a chance to even tie the game. I'm very proud of those two young studs going out there and shutting down a very talented Toronto lineup. Besides, let's remember, Tito should never be bashed. Ever. I've had my moments with him as well, but the man brought us a world championship. He's doing some thing right.
  4. Let's remember. He's waiting until June guys. He still has tomorrow to see if any offers come his way before making a final decision. Making his choice 2 days in advance doesn't make sense, which is why I was skeptical at first.
  5. I'm sure there's truth to this, but until I see a page on ESPN.com about it that doesn't site Newsday, I don't buy it just yet.
  6. I don't think the lineups have been announced yet. I'll check for ya though. And also, Riverside: Where do you get those batter vs. pitcher matchups? They're pretty handy. Sorry if it's been asked a few times already.
  7. ...or pitching close to his family. Let's remember, his son is in the Houston Astros' organization as well.
  8. Thank you. Took the words out of my mouth. Let it go. It's getting annoying. We're here to talk baseball. Get over it.
  9. My bad on the double post.
  10. Wells? Yes. Definitely. Glaus? Only if he hits a homerun. He's not really known to bat for average.
  11. If we win tonight, I will make sure to start the gamethread. Ted Lilly is no match for the PSYCHADELIC MOJO.
  12. Why? He hits homers, but he has like a .260 average... he either hits a homerun, or gets out. He has the power, but he never hits for average.
  13. 14. Yes. Schill starting a game thread woo woo! And with Beckett on the mound, it's a sure win. However, Chacin has a 5-1 record. Yeah, record doesn't mean much. That 5.31 ERA is pretty ugly. Oh, his face is too. Go Sox! 15. It's quite possible that Gagne used steroids. Just take a minute and think about it, especially with all his recent injuries.
  16. eYe H4Te da Y4nkers 4 lyfe 2 mAn! LoLz!
  17. Well, Clement normally does well when Beckett95 starts the thread, so until Clement loses when he starts threads, I think we shouldn't mess with that.
  18. What you implied was that his stats would be better. We all know that overall, A-Rod is probably the better player. But as of right now, and unless A-Rod goes on some monster streak and Lowell goes into a skid, Lowell is on pace to have the better stats come all star break. I mean, I'm not going to argue with you in that A-Rod's overall a better player, I'm just saying that so far, for the first half of the 2006 regular season, Mike Lowell has been playing better. That's all. I understand there's still more than a month left, but since voting has already started, the voters should be voting for Mike Lowell if they choose to vote now. Am I incorrect?
  19. Aren't you the one that's always asking people if they have crystal balls?
  20. Good luck man. And thank you!
  21. I was at the game today and I was ready to run onto the field and get Tavarez's and Seanez's heads on silver platters. The place was enraged at seeing those two fruitcakes out there. Luckily, Willie friggin' Harris has a huge day and we slightly edge the Rays. Coco got an unbelievable ovation during the pre-game announcement of his spot in the lineup. It was deafening. You probably didn't see anything on TV in terms of an ovation, but believe me, it was LOUD during the pre-game. Pumped to see him back finally. I don't understand why Tito didn't bring in Delcarmen or Van Buren, just anyone besides Seanez and Tavarez. Hell, call up Dave McCarty and tell him to get his ass over to Fenway. The boos were insane when a ball was thrown by those two. They haven't been stepping up at all recently. Even though we won the game, Tavarez was bailed out by Harris' OF assist. Doesn't change the fact that he still sucks. I swear, if they blew that game for Wakefield I was going to throw a fit. Good to see the lineup producing without Manny in there. What a day from Willie Harris.... I still don't believe he deserves a spot on this team. I don't care how good of a day he had. I want Kapler back. Anyway, good job with the thread Riverside, it looks like my mojo loves you I'll continue the gamethreads tomorrow unless anyone has any objections or thinks Riverside should start it. What a great day. I LOVE THE RED SOX. 22. No, we shouldn't have to "deal" with it. Overall, A-Rod may be the better player, but as far as this year goes up to this point in time, Lowell is better. A-Rod has done NOTHING this year to prove why he should play over Lowell in this game. If A-Rod ends up as the starting 3B, we will all know it's because he's A-Rod. And you know it too. There's a reason that it's called the "2006 All-Start Game." Because it's the All-Star Game for 2006, as in whoever is playing well in the year of 2006 up until the all star break, those players should play. A-Rod will play only because of his name, not because of his performance in the first half of the 2006 regular season.
  23. I was at the game today...and well, my mind has changed from when I last posted in this thread. Dump their asses.
