  1. Why the hell would they boo him?
  2. I would expect the normal lineup to be playing tomorrow. Obviously with Mirabelli in place of Tek, but if anyone's given the day off I would expect it to be Youk as he patrolled LF tonight, and Snow could play 1B again. I wouldn't expect to see Papelbon in the game at all tomorrow, unless absolutely necessary. 3 straight games pitching, we'll see how he is tomorrow I guess.
  3. Well, I will be at the game tomorrow, so I must say, it doesn't matter who starts the thread...the mojo master will be IN THE HOUSE yo.
  4. Right, but your only intent was to come into this thread, and make that known, in an attempt to annoy us. You could have posted that piece of information in the Mr. 2000 thread you Yanks fans have going in the Yankee Forum, but you decided to come here and annoy us.

  6. Another Yankee fan here to try and smother our victory. Shut up.
  7. I'm just making this. I don't care. The disturbed mojo took out Wells probably for the rest of the season, and now we're right back to a lack of a number 5 starter. I'm starting this game thread. Schill goes for win number 200 tonight. Go Sox! Game Info: Date: Saturday, May 27th, 2006 First Pitch: 7:05pm EST Location: Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts TV: NESN Starting Pitchers: http://i.a.cnn.net/si/images/baseball/mlb/players/7108.jpghttp://bellsouthpwp.net/c/h/chinigor/TALKSOX/VS.GIFhttp://i.a.cnn.net/si/images/baseball/mlb/players/4267.jpg http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/tb.gif#37 Seth McClung (2-5, 5.72) http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/bos.gif#38 Curt Schilling (7-2, 3.80)
  8. I thought it was too, until you participated in its hijacking.
  9. I must say, everytime podsednik20 comes to this site, he always gets in some sort of fight with someone. Not only that, but regardless of what other people say to him, he makes himself look very immature. I mean what the hell...I'm ashamed to say that he's only 2 days younger than me. This is the demise of our generation. Del Norte High School, in Albuqurque, New Mexico, apparently isn't doing a great job. By the way, Moose lives in California, you live in New Mexico. Your case ends right there. How's it feel to live in a state infested with the illegal immigrants of the country that it's named after? Make me some burritos and tacos and then maybe I'll lay off. But you're just being a bitch. ALSO...if you're going to use the word "you're" in your posts, please spell it the correct way: you're. In the last sentence, I gave you 2 examples of how it's used. Take notes, or visit: http://www.talksox.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6117
  10. ¡Hola amigo! ¿Cómo está? Espero que tengá un buen tiempo a TalkSox. ¡Bienvenido a TalkSox!
  11. Papelbon = God. Welcome.
  12. 7 total runs between both teams (4-3 final score, 5-2 final score, etc..)
  13. Because they are both getting used to the AL. Time is what's necessary. The Sox are still atop the division at the moment, and with more time in this division, and in the AL, they will adapt to the level of talent that comes with the shift in leagues. Besides, last night we saw what Tavarez can do, as he effectively filled in for Wells for a bit after he was struck in the knee, and did pretty decently. Seanez is on a short leash, but as of last night he had 9 previous scoreless innings. I wouldn't wave the white flag on them quite yet, because they HAVE shown that they can beneficially contribute to this team's success. It's just been a bumpy road. I was questioning the Seanez move since they signed him, but because I had such low expectations and now that I've seen what he can do in the recent outings, I'm liking it more and more. Just give them time, and if they continue to perform more sub-par performances than wanted, THEN go ahead and crucify them. They've been getting better, so just sit back and wait a little longer.
  14. The mojo has been interrupted again. Oh well. Anyway, updates: schillingouttheks: 11-4 RedSoxRooter: 3-0 Beckett95: 3-2 bosoxgirl34: 1-0 Soxfan#1: 1-0 jsinger121: 1-0 Youk of the Nation: 1-0 ACL BoSox: 1-1 Coco's Disciples: 1-1 MANNYHOF24: 1-1 riverside sluggers: 1-1 KeepTheFaith1229: 1-1 yankeessuck013: 1-1 stocker323: 0-1 One Red Seat: 0-1 Rdsxmbnt: 0-1 redoctober: 0-1
  15. We need to bounce back. Beckett's on the hill tonight, and no better way to do it then with him. Let's go Sox! Game Info: Date: Thursday, May 25th, 2006 First Pitch: 7:05 pm EST Location: Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts TV: NESN Starting Pitchers: http://i.a.cnn.net/si/images/baseball/mlb/players/7218.jpghttp://bellsouthpwp.net/c/h/chinigor/TALKSOX/VS.GIFhttp://i.a.cnn.net/si/images/baseball/mlb/players/6403.jpg http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/tb.gif#40 Doug Waechter (0-2, 6.63) http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/bos.gif#19 Josh Beckett (6-1, 4.19)
  16. Oh God. This is seriously, absolutely ridonculous.
  17. Exactly. The same could have been said for the ChiSox last year...
  18. Idiot. The lineup was even posted before you posted this. Giambi's not even in the game.
  19. Let's hope he doesn't hurt himself again when he tries too hard to crank one of those nice meatball knucklers and whiffs.
  20. It's what players who are loyal to their team do. I love Bernie for that reason. He'll see who's interested in him, see how much he could make, then take the Yankees home town discount. He's a team player, and he's the nicest guy (arguably, I guess) to ever play the game. I wouldn't know if Mussina is a prick, but that doesn't take anything away from his performance. He keeps to himself, and he goes out and does his job and never complains.
  21. Just win again. Just win. Hahaha, the Yanks need Sheffield, that's for sure. Beat the s*** out of them again. Game Info: Date: Tuesday, May 23rd, 2006 First Pitch: 7:05 pm EST Location: Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts TV: NESN Starting Pitchers: http://i.a.cnn.net/si/images/baseball/mlb/players/5839.jpghttp://bellsouthpwp.net/c/h/chinigor/TALKSOX/VS.GIFhttp://i.a.cnn.net/si/images/baseball/mlb/players/4906.jpg http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/nyy.gif#34 Jaret Wright (1-3, 4.94) http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/bos.gif#49 Tim Wakefield (3-5, 4.17) ORS....mojo please. I smell a Sox win, again.
  22. AHEM...DON'T MESS WITH THA MOJO BITCHES. Tomorrow's game is mine as well. schillingouttheks: 10-4 RedSoxRooter: 3-0 Beckett95: 3-1 bosoxgirl34: 1-0 Soxfan#1: 1-0 jsinger121: 1-0 Youk of the Nation: 1-0 ACL BoSox: 1-1 Coco's Disciples: 1-1 MANNYHOF24: 1-1 riverside sluggers: 1-1 KeepTheFaith1229: 1-1 yankeessuck013: 1-1 stocker323: 0-1 One Red Seat: 0-1 Rdsxmbnt: 0-1 redoctober: 0-1
