  1. In the words of others...did someone say something?
  2. Too bad that won't ever happen. He couldn't do that to the Yankee fans, and he'd stay in New York anyway. He's the type of guy that would take a home town discount IMO. Respectable Yanks that I'd give a standing O too: Matsui, Mussina, Mo, Jeter, Bernie
  3. Untrue. They make you hit the ball further. If you can't hit the ball from the beginning, you still won't be able to hit it.
  4. Yankees again. Let's hope Schilling can get his location together, because that's all that's really bothering him. Let's get to Wang early and make the Yanks play catch up. Go Sox!! I hope my mojo is still flowing... Game Info: Date: Monday, May 22nd, 2006 First Pitch: 7:05 pm EST Location: Fenway Park, Boston, Massachusetts TV: NESN / ESPN Starting Pitchers: http://i.a.cnn.net/si/images/baseball/mlb/players/7502.jpghttp://bellsouthpwp.net/c/h/chinigor/TALKSOX/VS.GIFhttp://i.a.cnn.net/si/images/baseball/mlb/players/4267.jpg http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/nyy.gif#40 Chien-Ming Wang (4-1, 3.79) http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/mlb/images/team_logos/50x50/bos.gif#38 Curt Schilling (6-2, 4.17) And also...some more mojo pictures or good luck pictures from ORS would be useful
  5. You joined today.... Just chill for a bit and see how this place runs itself. There are Yankee fans on here, and it's the general baseball section anyway. Stay in the TalkSox section if all you want is Red Sox stuff. There IS a world beyond the Sox you know.
  6. That's what we're saying. Beckett95's streak got interrupted today, and we lost. My streak got interrupted in the previous series, and we lost. Haha, I don't really believe in these things, it's just fun to honor and watch a streak happen.
  7. I know, but I'd rather watch him do well in AAA for a full year and look at other options for our 5th starter before resorting to him. How do we know if he comes to the MLB and gets shelled, then gets sent right back to AAA, it won't shake his confidence? Let him finish the year, and bring him back up when we plan on keeping him on the roster. And also, a list means nothing when it comes to actual performance. They can make as many lists as they want, it doesn't mean those players won't bust when it counts.
  8. :what: Substance please?
  9. Thank you. Riv can be annoying, but you gotta deal with him. Ignore lists are virtues in this situation people.
  10. I know. Beckett95 had an amazing streak going. Well, I'll do tomorrow if everyone chill with it. We got the Skanks and I wanna start this s*** off RIGHT.
  11. Can someone post his line? I heard he gave up 2 runs relatively early so I wasn't too happy about it. What did he finish at?

  13. I'd be willing to give Alvarez the spot. DiNardo is a bullpen guy and that's that. Last resort would be Lester I suppose, but I don't want to rush him. I'll deal with Wells if he can just keep us in a game. At this point, DiNardo can't even do that.
  14. Oh God. Hahahahah that is your legacy here.
  15. Rheal Cormier from the Phils? That's not happening. He's having a good year, and with Howard at 1B they have basically no use for an aging JT Snow. Keep Embree as far away from Boston as possible as well.
  16. You do know you're in the Yankee Forum right now, right? You know, the designated area for all things Yankees?
  17. What record? He didn't break anything.
  18. I just think it's funny how the White Sox fans came back here only for this thread and are defending Pierzynski
  19. I just remembered that because the game's in Pittsburgh this year, there is no DH. So scratch my vote for Ortiz. Papelbon will make it, and Lowell deserves it.
  20. No. You're not saying it because you're a Yankee fan.
  21. Hahaha, the guy's a f***ing joke.
  22. It's because his name is Barry. Who knows why though.
  23. Piece of advice: If you're going to start the gamethread, at least spell the opponents' city correctly
