  1. Millar needs to learn to shut the f*** up. I'm sick of him.
  2. Alright here are the answers to some of your questions 1. The gates will open generally 2 hours before each game. 2. Usually when you get into the park, the Sox are about midway through batting practice, and you generally see the whole Away teams practice. 3. There are usually plenty of opportunities for autographs but spots fill quickly. The best spot for Sox autographs is usually behind the tarp. 4. Not sure about the price of beer but I'm assuming it's in the $5 range. Hope that helped. Welcome to the site.
  3. Well let's see if this holds through the whole year, before we jump to conclusions. Anyhow, good to have an O's fan on the site.
  4. Moss had another sick doubleheader yesterday, going 5-9 with 2 HR's. He's now at .292/.360/.512.
  5. Dunn and Bellhorn in the lineup is like an automatic 6 K's per game. Are we trying to lead the league in K's?
  6. Hanley was put on the DL this past weekend with a strained back, which was hurt during batting practice. No word on how long he'll be out.
  7. No hits until 2 outs in the sixth inning, Wells has been awesome as of late.
  8. Wells pitching very well.
  9. Hey I'm on a bit of a roll, winning my last 2.

  11. I'm bored now so I'll get on it. Not gonna bother going back to last year though.

  13. 7:05 tonight. It'll be in the mid 70s tonight, with a 40% chance of scattered T-Storms. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/132980.jpg #20 Eric Milton (3-7 7.46) vs. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/136725.jpg #30 Matt Clement (6-1 3.79) Milton's season of struggle continued Wednesday, when he allowed seven runs over five innings to the Devil Rays. Milton leads all of baseball in runs (63), earned runs (58) and homers (22) allowed. He leads the National League in hits (96) allowed and is tied for the league lead in losses with seven. He also ranks among the NL leaders in wild pitches with five. In 70 innings pitched, Milton has compiled a 3-7 record and a 7.46 ERA. Clement opens up a six-game homestand for the Sox with visions of making amends for his worst start as a member of the Red Sox. In his last outing against the Cardinals, Clement was shelled for seven hits and seven runs over four innings in a 9-3 loss. Clement is 6-7 with a 5.54 ERA in his career against the Reds.
  14. Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'd try to play Youks at a combination of 1st and 2nd while giving Millar, Bellhorn and Olerud nights off every once in a while. Ultimately I'd like to see Youks as a 1B in place of Millar, but then I'd have no idea what to do with Olerud. But I think we should try to get Youks in the lineup as much as possible, but not at the expense of Mueller at 3rd.
  15. But do you think Mueller for Politte or something is a move which benefits us, like I think we could get more than Cliff Politte for a player who was batting champ only 2 years ago.
  16. Manny hits a bomb, 7-0. Something to keep in mind, Johnny's a single short of the cycle.
  17. f***ed up lineup tonight, and I mean really f***ed up. Red Sox Damon CF Renteria SS Youkilis 3B Ramirez LF Millar 1B Payton RF Mirabelli C Bellhorn 2B Wakefield P Cubs Perez SS Patterson CF Lee 1B Burnitz RF Ramirez 3B Walker 2B Dubois LF Barrett C Rusch P
  18. Lost or Family Guy, oh tough decisions.
  19. The last I heard about Shiell was that he had season ending surgery in May 2004 and I don't know what's happened to him since. Garcia had surgery last year as well and I don't know where he is either.
  20. Another thing about Bronson, I was watching Baseball Tonight and I felt that they made a very good point. Bronson does not use his fastball enough. Too often he relies on his curveball and changeup, and recently he has been leaving them over the heart of the plate, but the hitters suspect it'll be something offspeed. I'd like to see him add another weapon to his repertoire.
  21. Welcome to the site Brian.
  22. But the thing is, we don't know what Schilling we will be getting. Will it be the Schilling of last year, or will it be the Schilling which we thought was healthy in the beginning of last year. He is still a huge question mark.
  23. I didn't see it but I thought Don and Jerry said it was Chris Chelios and Jack O'Callahan. I am moving this to the game thread by the way.
  24. The more the better, though you do get the occasional Clementrulez. Welcom to the site though.
  25. Welcome to the site Matt.
