  1. I agree 2 out of 3, with the game we lose being on Sunday. Wakefield dominates the Yankees and RJ hasn't been his usual self. Clement has been dominating everybody lately so I expect good things from him. Wells and Mussina looks to be the mismatch however with both players going on the opposite sides of the spectrum.

  3. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/150063.jpg #52 Wade Miller (1-0 3.18) vs. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/407860.jpg #39 Gustavo Chacin (4-3 3.71) Miller will be making his fourth start of the season after coming off the disabled list earlier this month after recovering from a right shoulder strain. Miller has been impressive in all three of his appearances this year, and won his first game Friday against Atlanta thanks to a stellar 6 1/3 innings performance in which he allowed just one run on three hits. This will be Miller's first career appearance against Toronto. In 11 career starts, Chacin has only allowed more than four runs on one occasion. He's been solid for Toronto. If you exclude one two-inning stint in a game delayed by rain, he's thrown at least five innings in every one of his starts. He's never pitched against Boston before.
  4. 7:07 again. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/276520.jpg #61 Bronson Arroyo (4-0 3.21) vs. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/150404.jpg #31 Ted Lilly (2-4 8.82) Arroyo makes a return from his six-game suspension. This is his second appearance of the season at Rogers Centre. On April 8, Arroyo stymied the Blue Jays, giving up three hits and two runs over six innings in a victory. He also faced the Jays at Fenway on April 19, allowing just one run over seven innings and taking a no-decision. Arroyo is 9-0 since Aug. 15, 2004. Lilly's 2005 ERA actually moved down after his last outing -- the first time that's happened for him in eight starts. The southpaw worked six innings against Washington and allowed just one run, marking the first time in six starts that he gave up less than five earned runs.
  5. I heard Roberts was only day to day, but they put Lopez on the DL and Sosa came off the DL the other day.

  7. 7:07 tonight, oh those Canadians. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/124071.jpg #3 David Wells (2-4 6.75) vs. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/433657.jpg #49 David Bush (0-4 4.73) Wells got bombed in his first outing back from the DL, giving up nine hits and seven runs over 1 1/3 innings against the A's. The veteran left-hander will try to rebound against his former team, the Blue Jays. Wells pitched in Toronto on April 9, giving up nine hits and six runs over 6 1/3 innings. In that one, he had the indignity of giving up three consecutive homers. Bush went eight innings in his last start but couldn't snag his first win. The right-hander has thrown at least seven innings in four of his eight starts, and he's allowed three runs or less six times. In three May starts, Bush is 0-1 with a 4.32 ERA.
  8. I don't want him, I mean he'd fill a role which really doesn't need to be filled. He's probably going to be a setup man and Timlin and Mantei have been sharp all year. I say he goes to Florida or Atlanta.
  9. Aloha, haven't seen anything of the DVD, but it would be a good idea to e-mail NESN about your idea, but I'm sure they are already working on putting one out.
  10. I said Dwyane Wade.

  12. I think I've only been to 3 interleague games. So I'd say the best one was in 2003 against the Marlins, 2 days after the historic blowout. It was Gabe Kapler's Red Sox debut and he hit 2 homers and drove in 4.
  13. I believe it's Hudson Friday, TBA Saturday, Smoltz Sunday. The TBA is expected to be Kyle Davies who will be making his MLB debut.
  14. Exactly. Damon's agent is Scott Boras, who was the one who started the Varitek negotiations at 5 years. The Sox won't want to give Damon 4 years let alone 5, and it's not like last year where there weren't many teams in the Catcher market. I see some team taking a risk and signing Johnny for 5 years. Add that to the fact that Hanley may be ready for next year I think it's a no brainer.
  15. Give him some time, obviously he came back too early from the injury I think if they had given him 1 or 2 rehabs this wouldn't of happened.
  16. A's get 2 early runs, 2-0.

  20. 3.
  21. Hell No! I guess you haven't sit in those seats in the RF corner where you have to crain your neck to see home plate. And I found 1 seat once which was directly behind a pole, and not just a few rows in front of you, but smack dab in front of you.

  24. Had the lineups wrong. Assumed Manny and Ortiz were 3rd and 4th, but they're flip flopped. It's fixed now.
