Yank this-we're the champs and dont forget it.
sarasoxfan replied to sarasoxfan's topic in Boston Red Sox Talk
I know very classy, clapping too. I gotta say this is one of the rare times I regret a post I made. Hard to believe, right? But the yankees showed a lot of class--my hat is off to them. It starts with torre, who I respect a lot. it's 7-1 in the 6th, what a day -so far. Yaz looked great, and god love pesky. -
Priceless, man. you say all that--let's stop all this, we're both sox fans and then you manage to call me a saracastic little prick! Yeah. let's cut the s***. I'll behave and observe a treaty with you, in honor of the home opener..true, we'e all sox fans here. so in the spirit of the ring..let's just move on. PS: oh by the way, dont kid yourself you're a condescending little prick...there now we're even..where's that peace pipe we had a while ago I coudld use a hit. Okay, here goes: treaty starts now. you're boy Pedro looked fantastic against the braves. sharp as a tack. Smoltzy 15 K's and still loses...incredible...If pedro can stay healthy he'll put up some big numbers.. Now the mets need a bullpen and they'll be on to something.

Maybe the yankees cant watch but I sure can. YANKS PROBABLY WON'T WATCH CHAMPIONS' RING CEREMONY By MICHAEL MORRISSEY April 11, 2005 -- Diamonds are forever, and this afternoon the Red Sox get the rings that prove their rivalry with the Yankees has been altered for eternity. The moment Yankee fans have dreaded for months is here. Most of the visiting players say they don't care about the ring ceremony honoring Boston's "idiots" as world champions, which is scheduled to begin around 2:15 p.m. Most of them say they probably won't watch it, because they'll be going through their final preparations for the 3 p.m. game. Nevertheless, the Sox will be honored with World Series rings at Fenway Park this afternoon - and the Bombers and their supporters will hear about it for at least the next 86 years. "They have the right to do whatever they want," Alex Rodriguez said yesterday. "They're world champs." The rivalry was inexorably changed when the Sox turned the Yanks into historic chokers last October, and the hardware arrives to prove it. According to one report, the franchise will issue 500 rings to employees - although mostly on-field personnel will be honored today. The ring itself is reportedly white gold with diamonds and rubies and the traditional Boston script "B" on the top. Jostens made the rings, and the word is that they could be more valuable than the gigantic diamond paperweights the Marlins issued after beating the Yankees in 2003. Those baubles were reportedly appraised at $46,000 apiece. Some Yankees seemed less thrilled about the subject than others yesterday. "I'll be getting ready for a game," Jason Giambi said. "I'm not a big part of the controversy," Randy Johnson said. "You're asking the wrong person. What do I got, seven weeks as a Yankee right now? Go ask someone who's been here for 10 years or five years." Bernie Williams, one of the Yankees who owns four rings, has no problem with Boston celebrating its first championship since 1918 while the Yankees are in town. At one point, the Sox considered postponing the ceremony for another day as a courtesy, and there was some issue as to whether the rings would be ready. "It's their Opening Day, so it's fitting," Williams said. "Why wait any longer?" Williams and Derek Jeter don't wear any of their rings around. Williams said he's more of a watch guy, while Jeter is worried he'll lose his jewelry commemorating championships in 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2000. He locks them away. Jeter has occasionally watched teams celebrate after they've knocked out the Yankees in postseasons past, but he has no plans to sear the memories of the ring-bearers into his mind. "I don't really need extra motivation," Jeter said. "It's not something I'll go out of my way to watch." He's not sure what to expect from the crowd. "The fans seemed kind of upset the first nine years I've been going there," he said. "I don't know if they're going to be happy. I have no idea. I'm sure they'll come up with something." Similarly, Joe Torre doesn't plan on watching from the get-go, although he conceded that he'd probably venture out to the dugout in time to catch the end. But he insisted again that his team is not avoiding it. The Yankees will forever be a part of Boston's 2004 miraculous comeback, but they're thankful they won't be key figures today. "They're not going to wait for us to get into the dugout, if that is our plan, before they start," Torre said to laughter from reporters. "That would really be rude. But we'll see."

wow! joan's a little cranky.Opps, I used the name I am not allowed to do that...I mean to say someone who's name I am NOT supposed to use is a little cranky..Quite possibly the medication needs to be increased because it doesnt appear to be working. Or maybe it's roids rage. I dont know, but something snapped. But enough bickering it is boring and below me--if we're at the point where we're saying things like, you're a girl...the banter has reached a ridiculous low point and is even too sophmoric for me and I never thought that would happen in my lifetime. Never. However, enough dribble from the likes of john, oops. I mean from you know who. what an outing from that f***head pedro-he got it up to 95, and it's only april..damn, he is awesome I'll say that much...smoltz was pretty friggin nasty, as well. with pedro's 20 wins the mets might win 45 overall this season. as far as I am concerned the last 6 games never happened, becasue we looked down right horrible. It would be best to leave this kind of play in the john (not the name but the bathroom) where it belongs. Let the season begin and let's whoop some yankee ass

john you're by far the most annoying and unintelligent pompous creep I have ever come across. Your posts are either ridiculous or just reiterating what others say. the only reason I post after yours is because it is so hard to understand what you're saying since you contradict yourself every other sentence. you say you are going to ignore my comments, but then you rant and rave. Just shup up about it and ignore it. Just becasue you think one thing poeple are entitled to their opinions. Try shutting your piehole and just move on. who gives a s*** a s*** if we bash pedro, what are you his friend? the you have the nerve to say something condescending like give it rest or just drop the pedro thing....why? Because you bored with it and you feel like talking about something else. like we care about that. Pedro says something or does something we cant react?. What are you the forum cop. this thread is about pedro..if you dont like it then just shut the f*** up for a change and dont post.. you hate fair weather fans, you hate me, you 're pro steroids, blah..blah...you love pedro..we know ..we know... give it rest, little man, and relax-you'll live longer---as unfortunate as that may be for the rest of us. Now try and behave...

unlike pedro, I wish d-lowe well, he played his heart out here in boston, and he always put his emoiton out there for everyone to see. I hope he thrives as a dodger and I for one appreciate his term here!
-
and another thing... If you treat poeple like s*** they will treat you the same way. I am so f***ing sick of these guys getting paid a trilion dollars a year to play baseball, and then whining about the media. It is part of the deal no matter who you are, what you can do on the filed or off it for that matter. It may not be RIGHT but is there all the time, and that is that. Bonds takes not responsibility for his actions, cheating in the game and on his wife-it's the media. Jim Rice was a prick and now he wonders why he cant get in the Hall.. Pedro treated the press like they were *******s. He went a whole season giving them the silent treatment, now he wants respect. Ask johnny damon, or a cal ripken about the press. They are decent guys, nice guys and guess what the press treats them well. So before we balme the press for everything think about the fact that they are just a bunch of pot bellied wanna bes doing their job, they are just guys and exepct to be treated like human beings. My advice to the pedro's of the world is shut the f*** up, play nice and take your money and go home.
-
which in this case isnt hard to do. Pedro was a great pitcher in boston, a hall of famer for sure and yes, maybe the best pitcher we've ever had in the modern era, plus a big baby and bigger *******, and it appears he is refining the ******* part of the equation to perfection. f*** him. all this crap about management, he got paid a ton of money, did what he wanted and demanded and was given special treatment for years. What an egotistical cry baby, good riddance is an understatement. John and his little friends can fawn all they want. The guy's a creep and I am praying we can all say that we are just as good or better without him.

I dont care if the jason young is a bat boy, we got the better of the deal. kim is finished. He cant get the ball over 85 mph. I say thanks for nothing, and sianara. Didnt he also give the fans the finger? john it pains me to disgaree with you, but they absolutley did have trade on their mind, because he sucked so badly during his stay here they were hoping he could turn it around and they in turn could showcase an improved Bung bing kim during spring training hoping we could get something for him..but he still sucked so badly we probably would have taken a can of beer to be named later for him.

there is a God. Bung yung is gone... http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article.jsp?ymd=20050330&content_id=980577&vkey=spt2005news&fext=.jsp&c_id=bos

CRAP!!!!!! looks like they are keeping kim and sending down martinez and it might be curtains for McCarty. Dave is important and offers a whole lot more than kim. f*** I hate kim...I think the only potential he has to serve up batting practice to opponents, they outa send him back to korea, eat his contract and try and pretend he was never here.

as seen on redsox.com http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article.jsp?ymd=20050329&content_id=979721&vkey=news_bos&fext=.jsp&c_id=bos

Byung Bong the kim is dead. it appears mike myers is coming back, and I am hoping that this means the end of the kim fiasco, and martinez can shuffle off to pawtucket. God love theo....

john you're just an angry sad little man..always attacking the poster and not the post. " a post 2003" fan, why the contempt for "fairweather" fans, so what. A sox fan is a sox fan and always welcome here. I agree with zenny's post word for word...I also think getting rid of him was win-win...he wasnt happy and it showed. He is clobbering the ball now, 6 hrs and someone told me he is 500 in spring ball. Signing a one year deal...was abit myopic, but that's nomar. He's playing to make more money, and I cant hold that aginst him..the cubs will benefit for a year and then he;ll probably sign out west for mega bucks. I wish him well, and he was the man for a long time, but by the end it was time for a divorce and time to go in sepoarate directions. I wish him well.

there is no to the madness with john. I gather Barry has been hitting some home runs out side of the ball park, as well. His bimbo has accused him of funneling funds he made at card shows and things to buy her a house.. Didnt pete rose go to jail for doing that... I thought bringing his kid to the press coinference was classless.

great article from the world famous new york post: TIME FOR HIM TO LEAVE FOR GOOD March 23, 2005 -- ALBUQUERQUE — Barry Bonds has a chance to do something right for a change. He has an opportunity to slap a Band-Aid on top of his reputation, which has been gushing blood for months. It is the only thing to do, really, now that he's teased us like this. Maybe he can even borrow the exit line from his godfather, Willie Mays: "Barry, it's time to say goodbye to America." Maybe if Bonds retires now, America will forgive — and forget. Forgive him for dripping sanctimony all across this spring, as if someone had broken and entered his home. Forgive him for insulting our intelligence for over a year, from the moment this man who values his body above all else tried to pass as legitimate testimony the notion he had no idea what he was ingesting. And forget the fact he tried to overtake Hank Aaron with a little help from a needle. If he departs now, and leaves Aaron alone, maybe he can enjoy something Mark McGwire never will: penance. Bonds allowed us to think about that delectable possibility yesterday when he chatted with reporters in Arizona and expressed frustration that his surgically repaired right knee might not be able to get him back to the Giants much before the middle of this year, if not the start of next year. "Right now I'm just going to try to rehab myself to get back to, I don't know, hopefully next season, hopefully the middle of the season. I don't know," Bonds said yesterday after meeting with Giants trainer Stan Conte for 90 minutes. "Right now I'm just going to take things slow. I feel bad for [my teammates] because I want to be out there for them. "I'm 40 years old, not 20, 30." Bonds should take his time away to reflect on all the damage he's inflicted on himself and on a game that has made him wildly rich and famous. He should understand that nobody in baseball wants him to break Aaron's record, not now, not after he's been exposed as a fraud and a liar, not after all the hate mail and death threats Aaron had to endure on his way to 755 home runs, every one of them collected with clean blood and honestly earned muscle. Bonds won't, though, if for no other reason than that would give the scoundrels in the press too much glee, too much satisfaction. Even yesterday, Bonds refused to pass on a teed-up opportunity to take a few more whacks at the media, probably figuring that's as close as he'll get to a batting-cage fastball for a while. "You guys [in the media] wanted to hurt me bad enough, and you finally got there. You wanted me to jump off the bridge, I finally have jumped," he said. "You wanted to bring me down, you've finally brought me and my family down. Finally done it. From everybody, all of you. So now go pick a different person. I'm done." To the end, he is America's victim, craning his neck to blame everyone else in the room, looking all around for the loudest slanderers when in reality all he's ever needed to do is look in the mirror and have a glance at his own enormous head. Listening to Bonds expound on life really had grown terribly tiresome even before this steroids morass he helped fuel; now it's like listening to Lenny Bruce at the end, reading from his court transcripts on stage and obscuring everything he once had been. Bonds is wrong. We don't want him to jump off a bridge, just off this surreal stage he's built for himself thanks to the path he's chosen to pursue. He can still rescue himself and what remains of his standing on the all-time pantheon of baseball greats. He can recuse himself. He can remove himself. He can turn this half-season or full-season break into something permanent. Barry, it's time to say goodbye to America.

and you Tex-- Based on your previous posts about Massachussetts and bush, I get the feeling you have a gender identity problem that' probably needs to be resolved surgically. Hopefully with a lethal injection...
-
The v-factor you are smelling is coming from between your legs, stud. I aint a chick, the name is from the sarasota red sox.who are known as the sarasox..moron.. but if I was I would definitely stay away from a pimple faced steroid taking pot smoking, drunk loser like you. In other news--finally some good news... Bonds might be out for the season!!!! I say good riiddance, and am glad for hank aaron. and after hearing him whine and complain, I say hopefully he's done completely.
-
You're definitely a tool, for sure. lol
-
believe me, it's more astonishing in person. I scare myself.
-
I am beginning to wonder if you have a brain at all. 3-5 yards turns a long out into a home run. a ball to the warning track or up against the fence + 3-5 yards = a home run. ITS CHEATING!!! Maniuplated by the media, what the f*** are you talking about. I happen to agree with everyone else in the world on this one expect for you. "I dont know barry bonds"...that's your old crap that you used with pedro. I know enough from that news conference that he is ego manical *******, and he is cheater. I watched it and decided for myself. No one in the media made him act like a big dick head. I am going to use my passionate hate to picket your physical therapy clinic and pass out leaflets to your patients giving them a number to a lawyer to sue your skeletal muscle right off your back. Dial I 800-S-U-E- John....
-
I'm sure you'll have patients lined up around the block...
-
steriods increase muscle mass, they don't increase hand eye coordination, mechanics, or ability to hit a baseball. that seems to be something everyone overlooks. Um, Einstien doesnt increasing muscle mass mean you can, thanks to a chemical hit the f***ing ball further than you would have without it. It's called cheating dum-dum. somehow that 20% you put on your body moved from your brain, beacuse usual you are wrong. You say they are illegal. then wouldnt it make sense that if these players took them that they were doing some thing wrong. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......
-
you're unmitgated moron with no brain and clearly no heart. "my point is that if he wasn't such an idiot he wouldn't have died. i have no sympathy whatsoever for him. " I have no interest in ever reading anything you have to say becasue in the end each post is stupider than the next. You're a heartless *******. I dont know how anyone could say what you just said. I hope you suffer the same fate . douche bag. these guys say they know the guy and you have th nuggets to come up with that. Man, you are loser, dude, just an opinionated loser. have a nice life ..
