  1. It would have to be our roster.
  2. Kalish will have a higher OBP, and will be a threat to take the ball out of the park. He's the better offensive player. Ellsbury had the advantage defensively, but every metric has him rated extremely poorly this year. I think he can bounce back, but Kalish's offensive upside is more valuable than Ellsbury's. If anyone is a hell of a 4th OF, it's Ellsbury.
  3. He'll push Ellsbury out of the way. About the K's, there is a positive relationship with K's and OBP and SLG%. It could be an indicator that he is waiting for his pitch to drive.
  4. The increased K's, have also come with more OBP, and more HR's. It would be nice if he could cut them down, but I'll live with the trade-off.
  5. I think he was getting the majority of criticism when he was OPS'ing below .800, but he still was a fantastic player because of his defense.
  6. He's .304/.376/.576 since the all-star break.
  7. Damn, I did not know that. That f***ing pisses me off. The Americans would have Rossi from Italy, and Hangeland from Norway if they just played for the country they were born in. f*** Freddy Adu. Ghana can have him.
  8. That's fantastic that you gave me the numbers for P/G, but I asking you to prove your outlandish statement of his "effective ERA is at least one run higher." That doesn't prove your point.
  9. Kevin Goldstein at BP says he's a 20/20 guy.
  10. Toss-up, but Wang hasn't pitched effectively in 15 months.
  11. Renteria reminds everyone how badly he sucks. He fell down on a routine pop up.
  12. Wow, what a badass.
  13. The Tigers losing with Verlander on the hill? That doesn't seem likely.
  14. Hahahahahahahaha, this is so true.
  15. If Hangeland and Johnson were on the American team they'd be a hell of a lot better. Johnson is English, and I think Hangeland is from Norway. EDIT* Eddie Johnson is on the USA team. My mistake.
  16. Even Pie is starting to hit, just went yard for his 7th. The Reds on the other hand, with the clutch, grit, tuff warriors of Baker, and Jocketty are a long way off from being competitive.
  17. How about Gerrard against Bolton on Saturday? He saved my parlay. msbulldogs, this would be the guy to ask about soccer.
  18. If you have the discipline to keep your calories to about 1,200 a day, you'll be able to lose that weight in about four months.
  19. He cost $4 million, and gives us about 120 - 180 IP of league average pitching. I think this is a no-brainer. He is a good swingman to have.
  20. Tottenham, Everton, Aston Villa, or Fullham are all pretty good clubs on the rise. I picked Portsmouth, because my favorite player is Crouch, but he's gone, and so is all of our other good players. They held City to one goal today, but they look like a possible relegation candidate.
  21. I really like the Orioles long term.
  22. How much pounds do you have to lose?
