    This team would win 40 games. The offense is absolutely horrendous, and would probably shatter MLB records for futility in hitting. The 2007 Royals, as anemic as their offense was, still had above average pitching. This team's pitching staff would get bombed. You better hope that Smoltz, Bowden, and Buchholz can finish games they start. I would guess that this team would score no more than 500 runs, and would allow 1000. The 2003 Detroit Tigers are a recent example of failure. This team is much worse than Detroit, assuming full health.

    Are you serious? I am supposed to stop being objective, because I would be a useless international baseball competitor? The majority of the Dutch players won't sniff MLB rosters, but they did play outstanding baseball. I hope they keep winning.

    Yes, but they are still chances, however remote they are. According to the testimony of BSN07, he managed to get hits off of these pitchers. A nothing Dutch team beat a very strong Dominican team. That's pretty much what you can take from this. A fantastic story though.
