  1. Would those who are saying that Torre did nothing classless say that the locker room is a private place?
  2. I think they should have went with Hughes, but $5.5 million is an awful good deal. He should have taken the bigger contract offer a few months ago.
  3. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/knicks/2009/01/25/2009-01-25_for_knicks_eddy_curry_nightmare_continue.html Wow. What a s***** month.
  4. King Pyrrhus would be proud of you.
  5. Who the f*** came up with this idea? I mean, who seriously f***ing believes that Adam Melhuse, is the key to a trade for Saltalamacchia? How the f*** do some of these people have jobs? And how the f*** did you read this, and think, "WOW, ADAM MELHUSE!!! NOW WE MITE MAKE A TRADE!!" I take it back. Now I know exactly how this guy has a job.
  6. I think people need to remove 'this year's George Mason' from their vocabulary. 2006 George Mason was actually a good basketball team. If the officials were to remove Joakim Noah's dick out of their throat, the game would have been closer, and if they weren't wowed by Al Hortford's shimmy, they should have gotten bounced by Oregon and Butler. Wow f*** FLORIDA. I hope they make the tournament and get routed by some s*** school like Stetson. I'm sending Tim Tebow a box with pictures of Homo ergaster and a copy of God is Not Great
  7. Dunn makes a lot of sense in Minnesota. They can slide Kubel to LF, move Young to RF, and trade Span.
  8. Scaffolds returns!
  9. Where would he play?
  10. I'm picking Duke.
  11. I really like Kentucky's defense, and Meeks and Patterson are good enough scorers for the offense. Tennessee is probably the most talented, but they don't play defense, and I find Florida to be overrated after beating up on a soft non-conference schedule. I'd rank the SEC as follows right now: 1. UK 2. Tennessee 3. LSU 4. Florida 5. Auburn 6. Mississippi St.
  12. Midseason Conference Predictions ACC - Duke Pac 10 - Arizona St Big East - Louisville Big 12 - Missouri Big 10 - Illinois SEC - Kentucky MWC - Utah CUSA - Memphis (Houston's pretty good, might give them a run) A10 - Xavier MVC - Northern Iowa/Illinois St. (too close) Horizon - Butler (probably will finish with one loss, if they beat Wisconsin GB on the road) WAC - Utah St. WCC - Zags CAA - George Mason MAAC - Siena SL - Oral Roberts SC - Davidson The rest of the conferences suck, and won't send anyone that can mount any serious opposition. Dark horses in March - Siena, Utah St., St. Mary's, Houston. Worst loss in March - VMI will win the Big South, and will score 100 points in the tournament, but they'll still lose by 50.
  13. Hahahahahaha Please tell me that this has to do with some sort of Mark Grace-type ritual.
  14. It looks the procedure has changed now, but the original complaint was patently false. Goodell had done nothing different.
  15. Conspiracy........... its all about keeping the Patriots from the SuperBowl.......... http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/01/23/super-bowl-color-guard-flap-riles-up-fans/ Apparently, this is standard procedure. To say "Goodell strikes again," when he hasn't done anything is dishonest.
  16. This is an insane argument. Wrong is wrong. Regardless of where I live, I am going to take a stand on the this issue. Should we not say anything about Sudan? Or Zimbabwe? I don't live there. You don't live there. No, I'm not comparing taxpayer funded stadiums to genocide, but does this line of thinking extend to these cases, as well? The idea of taxpayer funded stadiums has spread all the way down to "BUM-f*** TEXAS." Jerry Jones got himself a beautiful stadium in Tarrant County, so did the Texas Rangers. It's going to take a collective effort to stop this open robbery. I stand by my argument. I don't care where I live. Bloomberg is using his power to fund a stadium when the whole state has a massive deficit. Like I said before, does the rest of nation have the right to get pissed when the state of New York stretches its hand out to Washington for assistance with their exploding debt?
