  1. Devendorf or Chris Brown?
  2. Red Sox signed Rocky Cherry to a minor league deal.
  3. Yeah, it's Bench. Roy Campanella should be up there.
  4. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4013606 15th time he's asked for a trade. He should stick around. If the Chiefs add Michael Crabtree they could have a really good offense.
  5. You are learning very well from your friends at the Globe, and at NFL.com. Your statement above is true, you have not stated anything about Pollard's hit being dirty in this thread. However, you have stated in the past that you have thought that it was dirty. http://www.talksox.com/forum/other-sports/11194-report-brady-done-2008-a-4.html#post349739 I don't put words in people's mouth. That's too easy. You trip yourself up on your own.
  6. Yeah, he was defending himself. Just like Chris Brown was.
  7. Patriot Propaganda. Look at the way they put "accident" in quotations. What a bunch of snide douchebags. To add to this, Pollard never said the contact was on accident. Hitting Brady's knee was the accident. Leave it to unbiased journalists seeking the truth.... All over Brady's cock. Pollard was going for a sack. I figured you'd be the only person to state otherwise.
  8. He also was a pathetic defender.
  9. Cora sucked in '08, which our mentally challenged resident of the site meant to say.
  10. Patriot Propaganda with another awesome display of fair journalism. Technically, the rule wouldn't apply to Pollard, because he didn't do what the rule protects against.
  11. The Yanks are probably going to wind up with Hardy. Nunez and Pena? lol Seriously, what the f***? This is bad even for you. Nunez has a career OPS of .648. AND HES TEH REL DEL!
  12. May not be? That's nice of you. Jeter has been an atrocious SS from the moment he arrived in the league. He does have good range going back for flyballs, which may suit him in CF. Corny joke, but apparently some Japanese fans (according to Rob Neyer) watching Derek Jeter on the YES Network assumed his name was Pastadiving Jeter, because of the amount of times that Kay would utter that phrase.
  13. A great pitcher pitched great in the postseason? Doesn't surprise me.
  14. Who is the manager for Japan? Something random I just thought about, but anyone else think that they should play some of these games at Fenway or Yankee Stadium?
  15. This crowd is really into the game.
  16. Awesome slider for the first out. Promptly walks the next hitter. Kim is due up. Two straight walks for Darvish.
  17. Wow. That Korean 2B is flashing some leather. He turned a beautiful double play with runners on the corner.
  18. Moe's is the bomb. I didn't know it was in New York. You'll probably be dropping $15 for a burrito.
  19. This is a good game. Looks like Oh's decision to use Darvish will pay off.
  20. Schilling is in. His career 127 ERA+, 3,000 K's, his sterling postseason record, and his historically good K/BB ratios should be enough. He didn't have the gaudy win totals, but Catfish Hunter got in mainly on his postseason resume, and his ERA numbers are not impressive compared to Schilling.
  21. Mike Lowell looks like he's doing very well this spring. Third HR of the spring. Have you seen him play?
  22. I like Mahara's arm. 96 mph on the fastball, and a good split.
  23. DeRosa should have two HR's. I think he learned his lesson. Hits a double down the left field line, that gets away from the LF. DeRosa to third, two runs in. 6-4, Japan. Longoria in. Good move.
