  1. No, I wouldn't say Dunn. Pena has a better chance to rip HR's and hit for a higher average, but he isn't going to walk a lot. I'd say his upside .280/.330/.520 maybe 35 HR's 100 RBI's
  2. You're comparing two different people. Most Red Sox fans who call Johnny Damon a traitor, are deluded, biased fans as it is. Others, see the Damon signing as a business decision. Remember, in professional sports, there is no loyalty. The Red Sox saw they could get a 24 year old outfielder, who has tremendous power potenial in exchange for a pitcher who's peaked in terms of development. Bronson Arroyo was taken advantedge of though. But that was his own fault, seriously his name has cropped up in numerous trade rumors, why didn't he demand a trade escalation bonus if he traded? Why even sign the deal? It's because Bronson wasn't thinking, and when you do that, you get blindsided.
  3. No, don't suggest that. Please don't.
  4. Why is everyone so eager to trade our starting pitching away? Last time I checked, having a surplus of good starting pitching is a good thing. Unless we get something that can help our ballclub right now; I don't see us trading any of those pitchers.
  5. Anyone get Seanez' velocity reading today?
  6. I can't even see that article. Can anyone post it?
  7. I...I...I'm not you're steppin' stone. Unless you want me to be.
  8. I think a 4 year 40 million dollar contract is a clear indication that the Red Sox wanted him back. He just choose the money, which there's nothing wrong with. I'm sure every Red Sox fan wanted him back, but not at that price. As for your double standard, you'd probably hate Rivera if he pulled that on the Yankees. It's easy to deceive yourself when it you haven't seen it done.
  9. No one's mentioned this one. According to benmaller.com, Terrell Owens has signed with the Cowboys to a three year deal. Rosenhaus has denied the signing though.
  10. Two trades proposed. One to Yankshater, one to Beckett.
  11. Youkilis also hit his third homer of the spring. 5-3 Red Sox in the 7th.
  12. Never doubt the almighty Missouri Valley Conference.
  13. Yankshater, I'm interested in Figgins. I'd be willing to swap Soriano and Prior for Figgins and one of your other pitchers.
  14. If his ERA is around 4, I could see him winning 18. That's if he pitches in 35 games. With that Yankee offense, he'll get ample run support.
  15. I'm going to retract my statement about you being a moron, as that is unproductive to the argument at hand. The question I want to know is what do you believe Chacon's numbers will be? I could see Chacon putting up an ERA close to 4.50. That's not great, but it's pretty good for an AL East pitcher.
  16. So therefore, you should have no faith in Chacon either. Have you seen the two's numbers? They seem to be quite similar. Except Chacon is a bit more wild. Why is Chacon different from Small?
  17. No, his abysmal K/BB ratio, should have any Yankee fan worried. Ask any baseball expert, and they'll elaborate on that. I'm sure you also believe in Aaron Small keeping his '05 form as well. I'm trying to decide whether you suffer from a case of extreme bias, or you're just a moron. It's probably a mix of the two.
  18. YUP? NO?
  19. That's when Jake's said WOO? WOo Whoo? Sad Jake? Whooo!! Wooo? Sad Jake is? Excited Jake is h-o-h-o-h-o Oh oH NO! HAHAHHAHAHAHAH (Chair Rolls, back and forth) (Chakees fan laughs) (Aaron types furiously) (Chakees claps hands, watches WBC) (What the hell is that? What the hell is this?) Justin is questioning the art work of my 2 year old niece Hold on two outs in the third, A-Rod's up. (Aaron typing away furiously) Sweet Home Alabama blairs in the backround WAP! I remember J.T. Smith GET OFF ME OHHH OHH DOLPHINS BOI (Chakees laughs again, as he taps a porno backround onto the couch) WHOA So your office is pretty much everywhere What's the selection show sunday on? (Aaron answers 10)
  20. Browns made a few good moves there. Probably not enough to make a jump, but it's a start.
  21. Wow, I'd feel compelled to counter your argument, but I won't. Much too easy.
  22. Actually, you seemed to miss my point. The one thing I'll remember about the Boston Red Sox 2004 championship, was the team effort. Reese, while he may have made the last out, wasn't a great part of the team that made the comeback. You can love Pokey all you want to, but I'm not really getting to emotional about an average player. (I'll give you average)
  23. Take Pokey's dick out of your mouth, and face the facts. He sucked as much as your comeback was.
  24. If I remember correctly, on Garciaparra's debut, Reese was starting at 2nd. He was such a liability at the plate, that he needed to come out, because Bellhorn was a better balanced player than Reese.
  25. In case, you missed what I said, I said Pokey was brought in to be the starting second basemen. You restated that twice, then went on to talk about injuries. Irregardless, of the injuries, Reese was slated to play along side Garciaparra. Not only did you say you didn't restate what I said, but you restated what I had said in the same sentence. Just read the first 9 sentences of your sentence. That seems to be my point. Riverside, said Pokey was brought to be a utility player, I disagreed stating that the premise of Pokey Reese's signing was to play 2B for the Red Sox. Nowhere, did I mention the injuries to Garciaparra. You brought that up, irrelevantly, I might add.
