  1. I stopped reading it after "ya", and "whiffin willy." You can come out of the closet now.
  2. Pawtucket: The PawSox fell 9-1 to Indianapolis, with David Wells taking the loss. The only prospect worth watching in Pawtucket is Alejandro Machado, who went 1-4 with a double and an RBI. Portland: The Sea Dogs lost 4-2 to Connecticut with Chris Smith getting the start. Smith, 24, went five hitless innings, only allowing two walks while striking out three. Edgar Martinez was victimized by bad defense, and allowed two unearned runs in his one inning apperance. He did, however, strike out two batters. Brandon Moss, went 2-3 with a double, and David Murphy went 1-4 with a single and an RBI. Wilmington: The Blue Rocks fell to Myrtle Beach 5-4. Tommy Hottovoy, 24, started an allowed two runs in five innings. He allowed three hits, and fanned four. Kyle Jackson, 23, struck out four batters in two innings in his relief apperance. Mike James (not important) took the loss. Jeff Corlasetti, was the top hitter going 3-5 with three RBI's. Ellsbury, Lowrie, and Bladergoen combined to go 1-14, with Ellsbury getting the only hit. Greenville: The only affialte to win today, thrashed Columbus 16-3. Clay Bucholtz, went five innings, allowing four hits, one walk, one run, and fanned six. Luis Soto, was a single short of the cycle, as he went 3-6. Jeff Natale, went 3-4 with two homeruns and two walks.
  3. Seriously, it was that bad. FoxSports needs to recheck it's demographic charts.
  4. ORS is right. Rising fastballs defy the rules of physics. Only submariners can actually throw rising fastballs, but not the ones you're thinking about.
  5. That change he threw to Gomez was terrible though. Hopefully, he'll find more consistancy.
  6. That Angels pre-game show is making me want to pull for the Yankees. Seriously, how bad does FoxSports blow?
  7. We do have a Monday off, so it's possible. But I don't think Wells needs it THAT much.
  8. Good time for Foulke to get some action in. The way Clement is going, I doubt we'll see him. (Knocks on wood)
  9. David Wells pitched for the Pawtucket Red Sox tonight. He didn't look very sharp, going five innings, allowing seven runs on six hits. He struck out one, but walked three batters. So, does David Wells need another rehab start?
  10. Crespo, Blows? No, that's my pitching staff.
  11. Anyone one else have a Papelboner? Want me to post a pick?
  12. FoxSports really sucks. Did anyone else hear that opening theme?
  13. Sorry, I should have quoted the main post. I think who ever started this thread may have perpatrated the "Racially insensitive comment." I did some digging up, and the title of the article was actually "Clemens gets ring, still uncertain about future."
  14. Did you read the article? Where did it say that ESPN was upset over the comments?
  15. Stick a fork in this one, this game is over.
  16. Manny's washed up. TRADE HIM!
  17. Fuk U Crisp! Trade Him Now! Lol!
  18. Damon Wouldnt Have Made It!
  19. My predictions Yankees (100 wins) Red Sox (98 wins) Blue Jays (93 wins) D-Rays (72 wins) Orioles (65 wins)
  20. The Yankees pitching staff is already racked with injuries. The Red Sox has the potential to be racked with injuries. So right now, I'd give the edge to the Red Sox. A healthy Schilling and Beckett overpowers the Yankees front two in Mussina and Johnson. Besides, who in that rotation is a number three? Wang's K/9 rate should make any Yankee fan nervous. Chacon's K/BB ratio also doesn't bode well for the future. Throw in the fact that Small, Wright, and Pavano are all on the shelf, and I guess you classify that as disarray. That bullpen could fall into tatters as well. Farnsworth has been horrible in big situations throughout his whole career. In New York, that's every day. If Rivera goes down, it's over. The Yankees will finish third. But, until that happens, that offense is way too good to allow them to loose. They won't a World Series this year, but they'll demolish small market clubs. They should go 50-0 against the D-Rays, Orioles, Royals, and Mariners. It wouldn't be shocked one bit, if that happens.
  21. Not if they have the best pitching in the division. In all honesty, I don't see the Blue Jays winning the division, nor do I see them finishing third. That Glaus trade was terrible, as it renders their defense ineffective. For them to even have a shot, they need Halladay and Burnett to win 18.
