Morris has a 1.47 WHIP, and he pitches in one of the most friendly pitcher ballparks in baseball. I'd go with Lester.

Michael Dubee went to my high school. Really wasn't that great in high school. Average fastball, OK curveball, not much else. Nepotism got him drafted. -

Andy Phillips is having a decent season, but he's not better than Wilson Betemit. Phillips currently sports a .304 average, which is bound to burst. His BABIP is .356, which is .61 points above his career norm. He doesn't do a lot in terms of hitting for power, or walking. His OPS is .770, which is below average for a 1B. I don't know how good Betemit is with the glove at 1B, but he's going to produce a lot more runs with his bat, than Phillips would have.

Not entirely. He can be traded to a few teams, without his consent. Gagne will probably accept a trade to a contending team. If he's able to pitch in October, and pitch well, that will probably increase his value. (free agency)

Gagne would probably only be a rental, and wouldn't be a substantial upgrade over Delcarmen, but he is the better pitcher. Breslow and Lopez cancel each other out.
